Maciej Szczepaniak
Maciej Szczepaniak, born 16 December 1973 in Wałbrzych, is a Polish rally co-driver. In 2021 he became the WRC3 Co-Driver Champion as regular accomplice to driver Kajetan Kajetanowicz, who was himself beaten to the driver's championship title by Yohan Rossel. He has over one hundred WRC starts to his name in a career spanning over 25 years. Career Szczepaniak started rallying in 1995 as a rally driver in his native Poland although has not competed as a driver since 1997. In 1998 he began his career as co-driver to Tomasz Kuchar on Polish national events enjoying some good results. The following year the same crew became Polish F2 champions and also entered a round of the World Rally Championship, competing in the Rally San Remo finishing 37th overall and 6th in class in their Group A Volkswagen Golf kit car. Michał Kościuszko
Michał Kościuszko (born 20 April 1985 in Kraków) is a Polish rally driver, who currently competes in the Production World Rally Championship (PWRC). He has previously won rounds of the Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC) and has competed in the Super 2000 World Rally Championship (SWRC). Career Kościuszko began his motorsport career as a 15-year-old in karting. At 17 he switched to rallying. In 2006 he began competing in the JWRC in a Suzuki Ignis S1600. In 2007 he switched to a Renault Clio S1600, finishing third in the category on Rally Finland. He returned to Suzuki for the final round of the season in a Swift S1600 and continued using the model in 2008. He finished third in the JWRC category and tenth overall on the 2008 Rally Mexico, before winning the next round in Sardinia. He finished the season in fifth in the standings. The Ford Fiesta RS WRC is the World Rally Car built for the Ford World Rally Team by Ford Europe and M-Sport for use in the World Rally Championship 2011–2016. It is based upon the Ford Fiesta road car, and replaced the Ford Focus RS WRC, which competed in various versions since 1999. It is also built to the new World Rally Car regulations for 2011, which are based upon the existing Super 2000 regulations, but is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-litre engine (1.6 L turbo Ford EcoBoost engine) rather than the normally aspirated 2-litre engine found in Super 2000 cars. M-Sport and Ford introduced a Super 2000 version of the Ford Fiesta at the beginning of 2010, which forms the base of the WRC car. The 2013 FIA World Rally Championship-2 was the first season of the World Rally Championship-2, an auto racing championship recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, running in support of the World Rally Championship. It was created when the Group R class of rally car was introduced in 2013. Unlike its predecessor, the Super 2000 World Rally Championship, the World Rally Championship-2 does not have a fixed calendar. Instead, teams and drivers competing in the series are free to contest any of thirteen rallies that form the 2013 World Rally Championship. Robert Józef Kubica (; born 7 December 1984) is a Poles, Polish racing driver, racing and rally driver, rally driver. He was the first and, , the only Polish racing driver to compete in Formula One. The FIA Production World Rally Championship, or PWRC, was a companion rally series to the World Rally Championship, contested by Group N rally cars. History The series started in 1987 as ''FIA Cup for Production Rally Drivers'' and obtained the world championship status in 2002. The eligible cars were still Group N modified road cars such as the Subaru Impreza WRX and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. Between 2007 and 2009 the PWRC allowed Super 2000 cars alongside regular Group N entries. In 2010 the S2000 cars were moved to a dedicated championship named SWRC (Super 2000 World Championship). The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, FIA WRC2 (previously also known as World Rally Championship 2 and WRC 2), is a support championship of the World Rally Championship. The FIA Junior WRC, also known as JWRC and previously known as Junior World Rally Championship, is an international rallying competition restricted to drivers under 29 years old. The championship currently consists of five select rallies of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) calendar. The category has been a stepping stone in the careers of WRC Champion Sébastien Ogier, Dani Sordo, Elfyn Evans and Thierry Neuville. Junior WRC differs from the WRC support championships, WRC2 and WRC3, as the competition is managed and promoted by M-Sport Poland under contract to the FIA.
