Maciej Muzaj (born 21 May 1994) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as an opposite spiker for PSG Stal Nysa and the Poland national team. The Men's European Volleyball Championship (''EuroVolley'') is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1975 they have been awarded every two years. The current champion is Italy, which won its seventh title at the 2021 tournament. History The first tournament was held in 1948 with participation of six national teams. Being only participant from Eastern Europe, Czechoslovakia captured gold. The Polish Men's Volleyball SuperCup is an annual competition for volleyball clubs in Poland played by the PlusLiga champions and Polish Cup winners. Michał Eryk Łasko (born 11 March 1981) is an Italian former volleyball player of Polish descent, member of the Italy men's national volleyball team, bronze medallist at the Olympic Games (London 2012), 2005 European Champion, 2001 Italian Champion. Personal life Michał Łasko was born in Wrocław, Poland, but raised in Italy. His father, Lech Łasko, is a former Polish volleyball player - 1976 Olympic Champion. He plays for the Italian national team, because he was raised in Italy and he has never received an offer to play for Poland. He speaks the Polish language very well. On 17 June 2013 he married Milena Stacchiotti, an Italian volleyball player. On 8 October 2014 his wife gave birth to their first child, a daughter named Nicole.
