Maciej Gajos (born 19 March 1991) is a Polish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Lechia Gdańsk in the Ekstraklasa. Blachownia
Blachownia is a town in Częstochowa County, Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. It lies about west of the city of Częstochowa. The town belongs to historic Lesser Poland. As of December 2021, it has a population of 9,383. History The history of Blachownia dates back to 1356, when King Kazimierz Wielki gave permission to establish two villages in the area under the jurisdiction of a Starosta from nearby Olsztyn. This resulted in an influx of settlers, and this area of western lesser Poland, located near the border with Czech-ruled Silesia, emerged as a center of industry, with several forges and bloomeries. In the 16th century, when the settlement of ''Łojki'' (future Blachownia) belonged to Kraków Voivodeship, it had as many as 36 forges, powered by water wheels. Furthermore, iron ore was excavated here, and in one of the still-existing documents from 1531, King Zygmunt August allowed a man named Błażej Łojek to run a forge. 2014–15 Ekstraklasa
The 2014–15 Ekstraklasa (currently named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons), is the 81st season of the highest level of football leagues in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927. It began on 18 July 2014. A total of 16 teams are participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2013–14 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I Liga. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. Legia Warsaw were the defending champions, having won their 10th title last season, but Lech Poznań won their 7th title. Teams Promotion and relegation as usual was determined by the position in the table from prior season. The bottom two teams were directly relegated to the I Liga, while the top two teams are promoted to the Ekstraklasa. 2019 Polish Super Cup
The 2019 Polish SuperCup was the 29th Polish SuperCup, an annual Polish football match played between the reigning winners of the Ekstraklasa and Polish Cup. It was held on 13 July 2019 between the 2018–19 Ekstraklasa champions Piast Gliwice and the 2018–19 Polish Cup winners Lechia Gdańsk at the home of the Ekstraklasa champions Piast, the Stadion Miejski in Gliwice. Piast played their first ever SuperCup match, while Lechia played their second ever and the first since 1983. This was the first SuperCup match since 2010 to not feature Legia Warsaw. Lechia won 3–1 to secure their second SuperCup title. Polish Super Cup
The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2021, the Polish Super Cup has been played 31 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant are Legia Warsaw, as they played fourteen final games and have lost their eight following finals since 2012. Unlike in Polish Cup, there is no extra time played in the competition, therefore in case of a draw after regular time match goes straight into a penalty shoot-out. 2018–19 Ekstraklasa
The 2018–19 Ekstraklasa was the 93rd season of the Polish Football Championship, the 85th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 11th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. The league was operated by the Ekstraklasa SA. The season started on 20 July 2018 and concluded on 19 May 2019. It is the second Ekstraklasa season to use VAR. After the 20th matchday the league went on a winter break between 23 December 2018 and 8 February 2019. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament. A total of 16 teams participated, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2017–18 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the 2017–18 I liga.
