''Macherla Niyojakavargam'' () is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language action film written and directed by editor M. S. Rajashekhar Reddy, in his directorial debut. It was produced by Nithiin's family, under Sreshth Movies. The film stars Nithin, Krithi Shetty and Catherine Tresa. It was released in theatres on 12 August 2022 and received mostly negative reviews from critics. Premise Siddhartha Reddy, an IAS officer, gets a posting as the district collector for Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh to conduct elections peacefully, but faces opposition from Rajappa, a corrupt politician and a cat-and-mouse game ensues between them. Nithin Kumar Reddy (born 30 March 1983 ), known professionally as Nithiin, is an Indian actor and producer who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Nithiin's work has earned him one Filmfare Award and two nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. Nithiin made his acting debut in 2002 with the romantic action film '' Jayam'' (2002). He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for his performance. In India and Pakistan, a Tehsildar or Mamlatdar is a tax officer accompanied by revenue inspectors. They are in charge of obtaining taxes from a tehsil with regard to land revenue.
