Aymara (; also ) is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Bolivian Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers.The other native American languages with more than one million speakers are Nahuatl, Quechua languages, and Guaraní. Aymara, along with Spanish and Quechua, is an official language in Bolivia and Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language. Machacamarca is a small town in the La Paz Department in Bolivia. It is the seat of the Nueva Esperanza de Machacamarca Canton, one of the five cantons of the Colquencha Municipality which is the sixth municipal section of the Aroma Province. Machacamarca (Oruro)
Machacamarca is a small town in the Pantaléon Dalence Province in the Oruro Department in Bolivia. It is the seat of the Machacamarca Municipality and of the Machacamarca Canton. At the time of census 2001 it had a population of 2,206. The town is situated south of Oruro near the south-eastern shore of Lake Uru Uru at the road and railway that lead to Poopó.
