Tamra ( ar, طمرة, he, טַמְרָה or ) is an Arab city in the North District of Israel located in the Lower Galilee north of the city of Shefa-Amr and approximately east of Acre. In it had a population of . History Tamra is an ancient village on a hill. Old squared stone blocks have been reused in village homes. Cisterns and tombs carved into rock have also been found here. It has been suggested that Tamra is identical to Kefar Tamartha, a Jewish village mentioned in the Talmud as the home of 3rd century amora Rabbi Shila of Kefar Tamarta. Crusader period In the 1253, during the Crusader period, John Aleman, Lord of Caesarea, sold several villages, including Tamra, to the Hospitallers. Liga Gimel
Liga Gimel ( he, ליגה ג', lit. ''League C'') is the fifth and bottom division of Israeli Football League, a position it has held since 2009. From Liga Alef and downwards to this, each league is separated by region as well. History Liga Gimel was first established in 1951 as a third division, below Liga Alef and Liga Bet. In 1955, after designating the first tier as Liga Leumit, Liga Gimel was demoted to the fourth tier. Further demotions followed in 1976, after the second tier Liga Artzit to the fifth tier and in 1999, after the establishment of Liga Ha'Al to the sixth tier. At the end of the 2008–09 season, Liga Artzit was scrapped and Liga Gimel was brought up back to the fifth tier. The 2013–14 Liga Bet season saw Ihud Bnei Majd al-Krum (champions of the North A division), Ironi Nesher (champions of the North B division), Hapoel Morasha Ramat HaSharon (champions of the South A division) and F.C. Shikun HaMizrach (champions of the South B division) win the title and promotion to Liga Alef. The clubs ranked 2nd to 5th in each division entered a promotion play-off, at the end of which, in the North section Maccabi Sektzia Ma'alot-Tarshiha and Hapoel Hod HaSharon won against their Liga Alef opponents and were promoted to Liga Alef as well. At the bottom, F.C. Bnei Arraba (from North A division), F.C. Bu'eine (from North B division), Shimshon Bnei Tayibe (from South A division), and Hapoel Abirei Bat Yam (from South B division) were all automatically relegated to Liga Gimel. 2011–12 Liga Alef
The 2011–12 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Asi Gilboa (champions of the North Division) and Maccabi Yavne (champions of the South Division) win their regional divisions and qualify for promotion play-offs. Maccabi Yavne won the promotion play-offs and promoted to Liga Leumit. After playing 8 matches, Maccabi Ironi Jatt (playing in South division) withdrew from the league and their record was annulled, leaving to South division to be played with 15 clubs. The bottom two clubs in North division, Maccabi Tamra and Ahi Acre and the bottom club in South division, Maccabi HaShikma Ramat Hen were all automatically relegated to Liga Bet, whilst the two clubs which were ranked in 14th place in each division, Hapoel Hadera and Maccabi Ironi Netivot entered a promotion/relegation play-offs, Hapoel Hadera prevailing to stay in Liga Alef, while Maccabi Ironi Netivot were relegated after losing the play-offs. Eli Guttman
Israel "Eli" Guttman (or Gutman, he, אלי גוטמן; born 24 February 1958) is an Israeli former football player and manager who most recently managed Maccabi Haifa, before officially announcing his retirement from the football world, stating health issues as the main reason. Career Guttman was born in Israel, to a family of Ashkenazi Jewish descent. He started playing football as a teenager in the youth ranks of Hapoel Haifa but never managed to play for the senior team. He moved to play for Beitar Netanya in Liga Alef and later played in Liga Bet for Maccabi Neve Sha'anan and Maccabi Kiryat Bialik. After six years of playing in the lower divisions in Israeli football he retired from playing and the following season started to work as a manager.
