History Since the 1960s, the football club which have operated in the Amishav neighborhood was Hapoel Amishav Petah Tikva. however, they were folded after failed attempt of merging with other Petah Tikva clubs, Hapoel Mahane Yehuda and Beitar Petah Tikva. one season later, in 1997, Maccabi Amishav Petah Tikva was founded, and started in Liga Gimel, the lowest tier of Israeli football. The 2008–09 Liga Bet season was the last season of Liga Bet as the fifth tier of the Israeli football league system. The third tier, Liga Artzit was scrapped at the end of the season, making Liga Bet the fourth tier. The season saw Maccabi Ironi Jatt F.C., Maccabi Ironi Jatt (champions of the North A division), Maccabi Umm al-Fahm F.C., Maccabi Umm al-Fahm (champions of the North B division), Shimshon Bnei Tayibe F.C., Shimshon Bnei Tayibe (champions of the South A division) and Hapoel Tzafririm Holon F.C., Hapoel Tzafririm Holon (champions of the South B division) winning the title and promotion to 2009–10 Liga Alef, Liga Alef. The 2007–08 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Umm al-Fahm (champions of the North Division) and Maccabi Ironi Bat Yam (champions of the South Division) winning the title and promotion to Liga Artzit. Kfar Sirkin or Kefar Syrkin ( he, כְּפַר סִירְקִין) is a moshav in central Israel. Located south-east of Petah Tikva, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council.
