Macaulay Gillesphey
Macaulay Gillesphey (born 24 November 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for Charlton Athletic. Career Newcastle United Gillesphey played for Cramlington Juniors before being signed by Newcastle United where he progressed through the youth academy and signed a professional contract in March 2015. Gillesphey made his professional debut on 24 September 2015 in a 1–1 draw away at Liverpool in the League Cup. Carlisle United (loan) Gillesphey went out on loan to Carlisle United in September 2015 along with Newcastle teammate Alex Gilliead. On 29 July 2016, Gillesphey re-joined Carlisle United on loan until 2 January 2017, before later extending the deal to the end of the season. Carlisle ( , ; from xcb, Caer Luel) is a city that lies within the Northern English county of Cumbria, south of the Scottish border at the confluence of the rivers Eden, Caldew and Petteril. The 2020–21 Brisbane Roar FC season is the club's 16th season. The club will participate in the A-League for the 16th time. The club will not compete in the 2020 FFA Cup due to the event being cancelled following the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. 2019–20 Brisbane Roar FC Season
The 2019–20 season is Brisbane Roar's 15th participating in the A-League and in the FFA Cup for the 6th time. Brisbane also announced they would split home A-League games between Suncorp Stadium and Dolphin Oval in Redcliffe. On 24 March 2020, the FFA announced that the 2019–20 A-League season would be postponed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia and New Zealand, and subsequently extended indefinitely. The league is contested by 24 clubs.
