Ma Lin (warlord)
Ma Lin (Xiao'erjing: , ; 1873 – 26 January 1945) was the governor of Qinghai 1931–38 and the brother of Ma Qi. A Muslim born in 1873, Linxia County, Gansu, he mainly acceded to the posts of his brother, being general of southeastern Gansu province, as well as councillor of the Qinghai provincial government and acting head of the Construction Bureau of Qinghai province. His father was Ma Haiyan. Career Ma Lin's father Ma Haiyan fought in the Boxer Rebellion at the Battle of Langfang and died of natural causes in 1900. Ma Lin assisted the Xidaotang in filing a lawsuit against Ma Anliang after his death in 1919, to gain recognition for them as a legitimate Muslim sect. His great-nephew Ma Zhongying seized the city of Hezhou in the 1920s in a battle during the Muslim conflict in Gansu (1927–1930), and vanquished Ma Lin's army, which was sent to retake the city. Ma Lin, CBE, JP (; 12 March 1924 or 8 February 1925 – 16 October 2017) was a biochemist and educator. He was the Vice-Chancellor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from 1978 to 1987. He subsequently served as chairman of the board of trustees of Shaw College in CUHK. Ma Lin (footballer)
Ma Lin (; born on July 28, 1962 in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang) is a Chinese football manager and a former international football player. As a player, he was a striker who represented Liaoning FC where he won six league titles and three Chinese FA Cups as well as the 1989-90 Asian Club Championship. As a manager he gained his first Head coach appointment at his former club Liaoning FC. He has since gone on to manage Chongqing Lifan, Jiangsu Sainty and returned to Liaoning FC on two further occasions. Playing career Ma Lin began his football career playing Liaoning FC where he would show excellent ball control, skill and shooting ability as well a threatening heading ability for his height at an early age, which would soon see him win his first league title in the 1985 league season. Ma Lin (table Tennis)
Ma Lin (; born February 19, 1980) is a retired Chinese table tennis player. He learned to play table tennis at the age of five and became a member of the provincial team in 1990. In 1994, he joined the Chinese national team. Ma Lin is the only male player ever to win Olympic gold in Singles, Doubles and Team. Additionally, he previously held a professional era record of 5 major titles (4 World Cups and 1 Olympic Gold), having won more World Cups than any other male table tennis player in history. (Note: as of 2020, Ma Lin is now tied with Fan Zhendong for the most World Cup wins of all male players with 4 World Cups each.) He has since been surpassed by Ma Long, who has won 7 major titles. Since retiring in December 2013, Ma Lin has been serving as the head coach of the Guangdong provincial table tennis team.

Ma Lin (Paralympic Table Tennis)
Ma Lin (, born December 25, 1989) is a Chinese-Australian table tennis player who has only a left arm. Ma has won five Paralympic medals, four gold, in four Summer Paralympic Games, five world titles and eleven Asian titles in his sport. He was named the 2013 Male Para-Table Tennis Star during the ITTF Star Awards in January 2014. Ma lost his right arm at age 5, after he went to the zoo with other children and stuck his arm in a cage to feed a bear. He sustained a knee injury in the 2014 World Para Table Tennis Championships in Beijing. Move to Australia Ma moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2017. He also registered with Table Tennis Australia, and competed in the Australian Open during the 2019 ITTF World Tour (with able-bodied athletes), losing his only match 0–4 to Thailand's Supanut Wisutmaythangkoon. He represented Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, where he won silver medals in Men's Singles C9-10 and Men's Team C9-10 with Nathan Pellissier and Joel Coughlan. ...
