Ma Che Kong
Ma Che Kong (; also known as Edwin Ma Che Kong; born 25 May 1974) is a retired badminton player from Hong Kong. Kong won most of the finals he contested in, which includes his victories in Poland, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. In 2000, Hong Kong hosted its first-ever National Badminton Championships and he won the title in men's doubles with partner Yau Kwun Yuen. He was one of the most dominating players of his country in the late '90s. He has represented Hong Kong in major events such as Thomas Cup, Asian Games, World Championships and Commonwealth Games. He was also a team member in Asia Cup badminton 2001. After his sporting career, he started a career as a coach in badminton for disabled people. Badminton
Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; formal games are played on a rectangular indoor court. Points are scored by striking the shuttlecock with the racquet and landing it within the opposing side's half of the court. Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. Play ends once the shuttlecock has struck the floor or if a fault has been called by the umpire, service judge, or (in their absence) the opposing side. The shuttlecock is a feathered or (in informal matches) plastic projectile which flies differently from the balls used in many other sports. Croydon is a large town in south London, England, south of Charing Cross. Part of the London Borough of Croydon, a local government district of Greater London. The Argentina International is an open badminton tournament held in Argentina. The tournament has been a Pan American Badminton Circuit Future level event from 1997 till 2000. In 2012–2013, this tournament has been a BWF Future Series level by the Badminton World Federation, and since 2014, upgraded to BWF International Series with the total prize money $5,000. Peter Grant Blackburn (born 25 March 1968) is an Australian badminton player who affiliated with the Ballarat Badminton Association.
