A Mobile PCI Express Module (MXM) is an interconnect standard for GPUs (MXM Graphics Modules) in laptops using PCI Express created by MXM-SIG. The goal was to create a non-proprietary, industry standard socket, so one could easily upgrade the graphics processor in a laptop, without having to buy a whole new system or relying on proprietary vendor upgrades. 1st generation configurations Smaller graphics modules can be inserted into larger slots, but type I and II heatsinks will not fit type III and above or vice versa. The Alienware m5700 platform uses a heatsink that will fit Type I, II, & III cards without modification. 2nd generation configurations (MXM 3) Smaller graphics modules can be inserted into larger slots. Heatsink mounting remains the same for type A and B modules. MXM 3.1 was released in March 2012 and added PCIe 3.0 support. ''Master X Master'' (''MXM'') was a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed and published by NCsoft. Gameplay ''MXM'' was a MOBA with third-person shooter characteristics. Each player controlled two playable characters known as "Masters". There were 30 Masters . Each had unique abilities and different styles of play. The Masters were characters from previous NCsoft-published games, as well as new characters. The player could switch between two Masters throughout the game, where the unused Master could regenerate its health. There was a cooldown associated with switching, as well as death. The player in ''MXM'' used the WASD keys and computer mouse to move and point the character, though the game provided the option for the player to move the character solely with the mouse. MXM (musical Duo)
MXM is a South Korean duo under Brand New Music that consists of members Lim Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun. History Pre-debut Lim Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun met as trainees under Brand New Music. They represented the agency alongside Lee Dae-hwi and Park Woo-jin in ''Produce 101 Season 2''. When the show ended, neither of the two earned a spot in the project unit Wanna One: Young-min finished 15th overall, while Dong-hyun was eliminated prior to finale, placing 28th. On July 12, it was announced that Young-min and Dong-hyun would debut as a project unit, with both having signed exclusive contracts with Brand New Music before ''Produce 101'' and becoming members of Brand New Boys. The name MXM reportedly stands for both "Mix and Match" and "More x More". The former refers to the duo's compatibility as a group despite contrasting qualities, while the latter refers to their determination to develop as a duo.
