MTVA (Hungary)
Médiaszolgáltatás-támogató és Vagyonkezelő Alap (MTVA) ('' en, Media Services and Support Trust Fund'') is a Hungarian fund company owned and financed by the Hungarian state, through the State Office of Media and Communications ( hu, Nemzeti Média- és Hírközlési Hatóság, NMHH). MTVA was established on 1 January 2011, and from July 2015 the company's main task has been to finance and operate Duna Média, Hungary's state public company. It is an active member of the European Broadcasting Union. History MTVA brought together four public media companies in Hungary: Magyar Rádió (MR), Magyar Televízió (MT), Duna Televízió (Duna TV) and Magyar Távirati Iroda (MTI). At the same time, MTI was given the exclusive right to produce news content for the public broadcasters. M3 (Hungarian TV Channel)
M3 (M Három) is a Hungarian pay television channel owned and operated by Duna Média since 2015. The channel launched as M3D, Hungary's first 3D television channel, operating between 25 June and 13 August 2012, the end of the 2012 Summer Olympics. It relaunched on 20 December 2013 at 18:00 CET as M3 centred towards archival programming. As a TV channel, it closed down on 30 April 2019 at midnight CET, and launched as an online service the following day at 08:00 CET. Over the daytime it broadcast archive programming and during the night it broadcast MTI reports. The channel also simulcast Híradó ''Híradó'' (or often ''M1 Híradó'' for clarity, means ''News Station'' or ''M1 News'') is the main news program of MTVA, the Hungarian public broadcaster. 2015 European Migrant Crisis
The 2015 European migrant crisis, also known internationally as the Syrian refugee crisis, was a period of significantly increased movement of refugees and migrants into Europe in 2015, when 1.3 million people came to the continent to request asylum, the most in a single year since World War II. Those requesting asylum in Europe in 2015 were mostly Syrians, but also included significant numbers of Afghans, Nigerians, Pakistanis, Iraqis and Eritreans, as well as economic migrants from the Balkans. The European Parliament (EP) is one of the legislative bodies of the European Union and one of its seven institutions. The 2019 European Parliament election was held between 23 and 26 May 2019, the ninth parliamentary election since the first direct elections in 1979. Daniel Cohn-Bendit
Daniel Marc Cohn-Bendit (; ; born 4 April 1945) is a French-German politician of Jewish descent. He was a student leader during the unrest of May 1968 in France and was also known during that time as ''Dany le Rouge'' (French for "Danny the Red", because of both his politics and the colour of his hair). He was co-president of the group European Greens–European Free Alliance in the European Parliament. He co-chairs the Spinelli Group, a European parliament inter-group aiming at relaunching the federalist project in Europe. Teletext sends data in the broadcast signal, hidden in the invisible vertical blanking interval area at the top and bottom of the screen. The teletext decoder in the television buffers this information as a series of "pages", each given a number. The user can display chosen pages using their remote control. In broad terms, it can be considered as Videotex, a system for the delivery of information to a user in a computer-like format, typically displayed on a television or a dumb terminal, but that designation is usually reserved for systems that provide bi-directional communication, such as Prestel or Minitel.
