Club Of Four
The Club of Four was an alliance of four European truck manufacturers: Saviem, Volvo, DAF, and Magirus-Deutz. Officially called the Société Européenne de Travaux et de Développement (ETD), the team was based in Paris. Founded to develop a shared range of light trucks, its main success was a shared cab design. Cabs can be one of the most expensive parts of a truck to design and build; the alliance allowed one cab design to be shared among four different truck manufacturers, allowing economies of scale. In 1978, Saviem was merged with Berliet to create Renault Véhicules Industriels (RVI), but the new company continued as a member of the Club. Magirus-Deutz became part of Iveco. The cab was used on a wide range of different trucks. It was even used on Mack trucks in the USA. It remained in production for almost a quarter of a century. Although initially intended for medium trucks it was also used on light trucks, even the 6-tonne Magirus 90M6FK. History Cab design usage V ...

Handley Page Type L
The Handley Page L/200 was the internal designation for a biplane aircraft by Handley Page, conceived to compete for the Daily Mail £10,000 prize for the first nonstop air crossing of the Atlantic. One prototype was designed and built in 1914 at the order of Prince Ludwig of Löwenstein-Wertheim. The L/200 designation came from its 200 hp (150 kW) Salmson 2M.7 engine, but the engine was requisitioned by the Admiralty when it arrived from France, so although the aircraft had been substantially built it was never finally assembled or flown. It was offered to the Admiralty as a coastal defence aircraft, with variants designated M/200 and MS/200 (seaplane A seaplane is a powered fixed-wing aircraft capable of takeoff, taking off and water landing, landing (alighting) on water.Gunston, "The Cambridge Aerospace Dictionary", 2009. Mirapoint Email Appliance
Mirapoint Email Appliance is a Unix-like standards-compliant black-box e-mail server, with built-in anti-spam, anti-virus, webmail, POP, IMAP, calendar, and LDAP routing options available. System configuration and maintenance is done through a web interface, or through SSH or telnet access to a command line interpreter (CLI). Full access to the Unix-like Messaging Operating System (MOS) is not available. Depending on the model and configuration the appliances can be used as email routers, user mail servers, or as an all-in-one server. Appliance Generations The first generation of Mirapoint Email Appliances were introduced in December 1998. The two models were the M100 and M1000, both of which were hardware identical. Their differences were in user count, with licensing done in software. Both platforms consisted of a 3U CPU unit, tied to a 3U high RAID array and a 3U rack mounted UPS ( uninterruptible power supply). Both of these platforms initially ran Mirapoint MOS version 1. ...
