MOTIV Bowling
MOTIV Bowling is an American company involved in the manufacture and sale of bowling balls. The company headquarters are in Spring Lake, Michigan, with the main manufacturing facility in nearby Muskegon Heights. History MOTIV had its beginnings in the 1990s as Wilbur Products, a company that engineered cores for other high-performance bowling ball brands. When its largest customer ( Brunswick) chose to move its manufacturing from Michigan to Mexico, Wilbur Products embarked on a project to start its own bowling ball production, launching the MOTIV brand in 2009. Patents MOTIV patented a process called NeoMark M/small>, which integrates logos and other graphics into the cover stock of the ball. Spring Lake, Michigan
Spring Lake is a village in Ottawa County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,323 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Spring Lake Township. History In 1837, Captain Benjamin Hopkins purchased land in the area and built a mill. The place became known as "Hopkins Mill". In 1849, Thomas W. White and S.C. Hopkins recorded a plat with the name "Mill Point". A post office was established with that name in May 1851. The PBA Tour is the major professional tour for ten-pin bowling, operated by the Professional Bowlers Association. Headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, over 3,000 members worldwide make up the PBA. While most of the PBA members are Regional professionals, a small percentage of the bowling membership competes at the national and international level, forming the PBA Tour. Professional Women's Bowling Association
The Professional Women's Bowling Association (PWBA) organizes and oversees a series of annual tournaments for the top competitive women ten-pin bowlers. The series is often referred to as the "women's tour" of bowling. The PWBA was formed in 1960 but ceased operations in 2003. The Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) is the major sanctioning body for the sport of professional ten-pin bowling in the United States. Richard “Dick” Allen (born 1978) is a right-handed Americans, American professional Ten-pin bowling, ten-pin bowler and member of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA). He competes in events on the PBA Tour and has competed internationally on the World Bowling Tour (WBT). Allen has seven PBA Tour titles and 19 PBA Regional Tour titles. Andrew Anderson (bowler)
Andrew Anderson (born May 10, 1995) of Holly, Michigan is a right-handed American professional ten-pin bowler known for winning the 2018 USBC Masters. He competes in events on the PBA Tour and in global events as a member of Team USA. In his second full season on the PBA Tour (2018), Anderson won the Chris Schenkel PBA Player of the Year Award. Anderson has won three PBA Tour titles, including one major championship. He is a member of the Turbo grips pro staff. Chris Loschetter (born May 24, 1980) is an American professional bowler from Florida, currently on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour. Chris attended Florida State University, and was on the bowling team there in the 2002–03 and 2003–04 seasons. He was part of the Junior Team USA from 2000–2001. Since 2003 he has been a member of the PBA Tour. He spent several years on the pro staff for Brunswick before becoming a "free agent" in 2013.
