MNL Cup 2009
MNL Cup Grand Royal 2009 is the inaugural knock-out club football tournament of the Myanmar National League. The tournament, held at the Aung San Stadium and the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon between 16 May and 5 July 2009, was contested by all eight clubs of the newly formed professional league. Yadanabon FC finished on top, one point ahead of Yangon United FC in group stage. On 5 July 2009, Yadanabon defeated Yangon United in the cup final on penalty shootout, to become the reigning champions of the league. Ollo Kambou (born 1986 in Bingerville, Cote d'Ivoire) is a footballer who started his career when he joined Stade d'Abidjan, a team in the Division 1 Championship in Cote d'Ivoire, in 2004. He played left back for Stade until 2005, when his contract ended. He was then taken on by another Division 1 team, Séwé Sport de San Pedro, when they asked him to sign at the beginning of 2006. He continued playing left back for San Pedro until his contract ended the following year, 2007. Kyaw Zayar Win ( Burmese: ကျော်ဇေယျာဝင်း; born 2 May 1991) is a former Burmese footballer who played as a winger. Club career Perak Zayar Win started his career at Kanbawza (now Shan United) in the Myanmar National League before transferring to Malaysia Super League side Perak in November 2013 on a 1-year loan deal.
