Malibu Locals Only
Malibu Locals Only (MLO) is a group of youths local to Malibu, California, who have been associated with several violent attacks along with other criminal activity in the city. Frequently involved with party, bar or beach area fights, the group has maintained a feeling of aversion toward residents of the San Fernando Valley region, as well as other outsiders who find their way into Malibu for recreation or leisure. Currently, they are considered to be an unorganized group of an estimated 10 to 15 people, who are often criticized by former MLO members for their attacks on innocent people, rather than operating on the original goals of the organization. Origins Initially established in the 1960s by a group of Malibu surfers, the group sought to do two things; stop the San Fernando Valley surfers from using their beaches (which, at the time, were private), and protect students of Malibu who were the minority in high schools at the time (because Malibu High School had not yet been ...

Mammography
Mammography (also called mastography) is the process of using low-energy X-rays (usually around 30 kVp) to examine the human breast for diagnosis and screening. The goal of mammography is the early detection of breast cancer, typically through detection of characteristic masses or microcalcifications. As with all X-rays, mammograms use doses of ionizing radiation to create images. These images are then analyzed for abnormal findings. It is usual to employ lower-energy X-rays, typically Mo (K-shell X-ray energies of 17.5 and 19.6 keV) and Rh (20.2 and 22.7 keV) than those used for radiography of bones. Mammography may be 2D or 3D (tomosynthesis), depending on the available equipment and/or purpose of the examination. Ultrasound, ductography, positron emission mammography (PEM), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are adjuncts to mammography. Ultrasound is typically used for further evaluation of masses found on mammography or palpable masses that may or may not be seen on mammogr ...

Milos Island National Airport
Milos Island National Airport is an airport in Milos, Greece . Milos is an island in the Cyclades. The airport is located 5 kilometers southeast of the harbour of the island. The airport was opened on January 17, 1973. In October 1995, a new terminal was taken into use. Infrastructure As the airport has a small apron (7,800 square meters) and a short runway, only Dash 8, ATR 42, or smaller aircraft are able to use the airport. Plans exist for a 2,000 by 45 meter runway at a new location and the expansion of the apron space to 26,000 square meters. However, due to the economical difficulties, these plans have been suspended. The current apron can handle only one Dash 8 sized aircraft or two light aircraft at one given time. Airlines and destinations The following airlines operate regular scheduled and charter flights at Milos Island Airport: Statistics Annual passenger throughput Ground transport Other than by car, the airport is linked to the rest of the island by taxi. Mildew Resistance Locus O
Mildew locus o (MLO) is a plant-specific gene family. Specific members of the Mildew Locus O gene family act as powdery mildew susceptibility factors. Their inactivation, as the result of a loss-of-function mutation, gene knock-out, or knock-down, is associated with a peculiar form of resistance, referred to as ''mlo'' resistance. The ''mlo'' gene family is widely conserved across the plant kingdom with some members evolving as early as the first land plants. Mlo proteins contain seven highly conserved transmembrane domains, as well as a calmodulin-binding domain. ''TaMLO'' genes are the MLOs in ''Triticum aestivum''. MLO genes in tomatoes At least 17 MLO genes exist in tomatoes. They have a protein length of between 270 and 591 amino acids Amino acids are organic compounds that contain both amino and carboxylic acid functional groups. Although hundreds of amino acids exist in nature, by far the most important are the alpha-amino acids, which comprise proteins. Only 22 alp ...

Temple Of The Black Light
The Misanthropic Luciferian Order (MLO) was a satanic occult order founded in Sweden in 1995 and later renamed Temple of the Black Light. The MLO released ''Liber Azerate'', a modern grimoire written by the order's Magister Templi, Frater Nemidial, in 2002. It was released on the internet in Swedish and Norwegian. Azerate is the hidden name of the "eleven anti-cosmic gods" described in the book. A related musical work is the 2006 Dissection album ''Reinkaos'', the lyrics of which were co-written by Frater Nemidial, and which Jon Nödtveidt explained was "based on the book ''Liber Azerate'' and the teachings of MLO". The MLO propagate "Chaos-Gnostic Satanism" or "Current 218". In 2010, a second book named ''Liber Falxifer'' was published. It is also a grimoire with spells, and commentary about Latin American death cults. It was published by Ixaxaar Publications, in limited editions. Beliefs The MLO believes in "Chaosophy": They believe that chaos is an infinidimensional and pandime ...

Housing And Economic Recovery Act Of 2008
The United States Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008 () (commonly referred to as HERA) was designed primarily to address the subprime mortgage crisis. It authorized the Federal Housing Administration to guarantee up to $300 billion in new 30-year fixed rate mortgages for subprime borrowers if lenders wrote down principal loan balances to 90 percent of current appraisal value. It was intended to restore confidence in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by strengthening regulations and injecting capital into the two large U.S. suppliers of mortgage funding. States are authorized to refinance subprime loans using mortgage revenue bonds. Enactment of the Act led to the government conservatorship of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Legislative history The Act was passed by the United States Congress on July 24, 2008 and signed by President George W. Bush on July 30, 2008. Subsequent amendments Some provisions of the law were modified by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act o ...

Phytoplasma
Phytoplasmas are obligate intracellular parasites of plant phloem tissue and of the insect vectors that are involved in their plant-to-plant transmission. Phytoplasmas were discovered in 1967 by Japanese scientists who termed them mycoplasma-like organisms. Since their discovery, phytoplasmas have resisted all attempts at ''in vitro'' culture in any cell-free medium; routine cultivation in an artificial medium thus remains a major challenge. Phytoplasmas are characterized by the lack of a cell wall, a pleiomorphic or filamentous shape, a diameter normally less than 1 μm, and a very small genome. Phytoplasmas are pathogens of agriculturally important plants, including coconut, sugarcane, and sandalwood, in which they cause a wide variety of symptoms ranging from mild yellowing to death. Phytoplasmas are most prevalent in tropical and subtropical regions. They are transmitted from plant to plant by vectors (normally sap-sucking insects such as leafhoppers) in which they both sur ...
