Lubin
Lubin (; german: Lüben, szl, Lubin) is a city in Lower Silesian Voivodeship in south-western Poland. It is the administrative seat of Lubin County, and also of the rural district called Gmina Lubin, although it is not part of the territory of the latter, as the town forms a separate urban gmina. As of 2021, the city had a total population of 70,815. Geography Lubin is situated on the Zimnica (river), Zimnica river in the Lower Silesian historical region, about northwest of Wrocław and north of Legnica. Volleyball Clubs Established In 2001
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. Masahiro Sekita
is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Tokyo. He currently plays in V.League Division 1 for JTEKT Stings and Japan men's national volleyball team. He used to be the captain of Japan U-21 national team in 2012 Asian Junior Men's Volleyball Championship and 2013 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship. Career Masahiro was the captain of Japan U-21 national team, since 2012 to 2013. Then, he had registered for Japan senior national team for the first time in 2016. In 2021, Masahiro was one of the setters in Japanese roster, which played in 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Grzegorz Bociek
Grzegorz Bociek (born 6 June 1991) is a Polish volleyball player. At the professional club level, he plays for Cuprum Lubin, two–time Polish Champion (2016, 2017). Personal life Bociek was born in Sielec, Poland. He has two brothers – Łukasz, Piotr and a younger sister Monika (born 1996), who is also a volleyball player and has played in the Polish women's junior national team. On June 12, 2014, his fiancée Paulina gave birth to their daughter Alicja. On October 1, 2014, Bociek announced at a press conference that he is suspending his sports career because of a serious disease. He was suffering from a tumor of the lymphoid tissues. On October 4, 2014, he married Paulina (née Bigos). Bociek disease began with lymphadenopathy in the neck. Upon further investigation, it turned out that it was a cancer of the lymphatic system. 2021–22 PlusLiga
The 2021–22 PlusLiga was the 86th season of the Polish Volleyball Championship, the 69th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish volleyball league system since its establishment in 1954, and the 22nd season as a professional league. The league is operated by the Polish Volleyball League SA ( pl, Polska Liga Siatkówki SA). This season was composed of 14 teams. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament.
