MJ Erb (born February 2, 1994) is an American long-distance runner born in Farmington, New York. Professional Erb ran 8:29.09 to place seventh in the steeplechase at 2018 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa. Erb ran 8:32.78 to win the steeplechase at 2018 Occidental College USATF Distance Classic. Erb ran 29:43 for 10 km to place ninth at 2018 USA Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, Florida. Michael Erb ran 8:26.75 to place seventh in the steeplechase at 2017 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Sacramento state. Erb represented the United States and earned a silver medal 2016 NACAC Under-23 Championships in Athletics. Farmington, New York
Farmington is a town located in the northern part of Ontario County, New York, United States. The population was 14,275 at the 2020 census. History Farmington was part of the Phelps and Gorham Purchase. The town was formed along with its county in 1789, and settlement of the region began the same year. Many of the early settlers were Quakers from Berkshire County, Massachusetts. In 1824, Arthur Power left Farmington with two of his sons and other Quakers to found Farmington, Michigan. The Farmington Quaker Crossroads Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. Ole Miss Rebels Track And Field
The Ole Miss Rebels are the 18 men's and women's intercollegiate athletic teams that are funded by and represent the University of Mississippi, located in Oxford. The first was the football team, which began play in 1893. Originally known as the "Mississippi Flood", the teams were renamed the Rebels in 1936. They compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)'s Division I, except for the rifle team, which participates in the Great America Rifle Conference because the SEC does not sponsor that sport. The school's colors are red ( PMS 186) and navy blue (PMS 2767), chosen to mirror the respective school colors of Harvard and Yale. All-America
The All-America designation is an annual honor bestowed upon an amateur sports person from the United States who is considered to be one of the best amateurs in their sport. Individuals receiving this distinction are typically added to an All-America team for their sport. Some sports will have multiple All-America teams and will list the honorees as members of a first team, second team, or third team. As such, All-America teams are composed of outstanding US amateur players. Individuals falling short of qualifying for the honor may receive All-America honorable mention. The designation is typically used at the collegiate level although, beginning in 1957, high school- athletes in football began being honored with All-America status, which then carried-over to other sports like basketball and cross-country running.
