MDR-Literaturpreis
MDR-Literaturpreis was a German literary prize. The prize was awarded by the Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk from 1996 to 2015. The main prize was endowed with 5,000 euros, the second with 2,500 euros and the third with 1,500 euros (donated by Druckhaus Köthen), as well an audience award was endowed with 1000 euros. Sudabeh Mohafez
Sudabeh Mohafez ( fa, سودابه محافظ) born 1963 in Tehran, Imperial State of Iran is a German author. Biography Sudabeh Mohafez studied music, English studies and pedagogy. She worked at various Non-governmental organizations in the field of violence prevention. After many years in Berlin and a few in Lisbon, she now lives as a freelance writer in Baden-Württemberg. Sudabeh Mohafez is author of narratives, novels, poems, portraits and theaterplays. She received several literary scholarships and the Adelbert von Chamisso Prize. She was Poetic lecturer at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk
Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR; ''Central German Broadcasting'') is the public broadcaster for the federal states of Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt in Germany. Established in January 1991, its headquarters are in Leipzig, with regional studios in Dresden, Erfurt and Magdeburg. MDR is a member of the ARD consortium of public broadcasters in Germany. MDR broadcasts its own television channel to the three states it serves and also contributes programming to the first German TV channel ( Das Erste), and broadcasts a number of radio channels.
