MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024
The MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2024 took place between 19 and 24 October 2024 in Mumbai, India. It was the first edition of the festival under interim festival director Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, following the departure of Anupama Chopra from the festival director position. It was also the first edition of the festival since 2014 to not have a title sponsor. As with the 2023 edition of the festival, the main competition of the festival was limited to filmmakers from South Asia (except Pakistan) and the South Asian diaspora. Netherlands-based film director, lecturer, and film programmer Rada Šešić was named the Head of Jury for this South Asia Competition. Over 110 films from over 45 countries were screened during this edition of the festival, for which PVR INOX and Regal Cinema continued to serve as screening venue partners. All We Imagine As Light
''All We Imagine as Light'' is a 2024 drama film written and directed by Payal Kapadia. The cast includes Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam and Hridhu Haroon. The film was an international co-production involving companies from India, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Italy. The film premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. It was the first film from India to compete in the main competition since 1994, and won the Grand Prix. Anupama Srinivasan
Anupama Srinivasan is an Indian film director. She is known for ''Nocturnes'' (2024), a documentary exploring the world of moths in the Eastern Himalayan forest. Hansal Mehta (born 29 April 1968) is an Indian filmmaker. He started his career with television show ''Khana Khazana'' (1993–2000) and later moved on to directing films like ''Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar!!''
