M-67 (Michigan Highway)
M-67 is a north–south Michigan State Trunkline Highway System, state trunkline highway in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Upper Peninsula of the U.S. state of Michigan. It connects with U.S. Route 41 in Michigan, US Highway 41 (US 41) and M-94 (Michigan highway), M-94 between Trenary, Michigan, Trenary and Chatham, Michigan, Chatham. The highway has largely been unchanged during its history, although the highways that connect to M-67 on each end have changed several times. Route description M-67 starts at an intersection with US 41 near Trenary east of the West Branch of the Whitefish River. From that intersection the highway runs east crossing Scott Creek before running into downtown Trenary along relatively flat terrain. M67 Grenade
The M67 grenade is a fragmentation hand grenade used by the United States military. The M67 is a further development of the M33 grenade, itself a replacement for the M26-series grenades used during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and the older Mk 2 "pineapple" grenade used since World War I. Overview The M67 grenade has a spheroidal steel body that contains of composition B explosive. It uses the M213 pyrotechnic delay fuze. The M67 grenade weighs in total and has a safety clip to prevent the safety pin on the grenade from being pulled accidentally. The safety pin prevents the safety lever, or "spoon" on the grenade from moving and releasing the spring-loaded striker which initiates the grenade's fuse assembly. The M67 is typically known as a "baseball" grenade, because it is shaped like a ball that can be easily thrown. M67 Motorway
The M67 is a urban motorway in Greater Manchester, England, which heads east from the M60 motorway passing through Denton and Hyde before ending near Mottram. The road was originally conceived as the first section of a trans- Pennine motorway between Manchester and Sheffield that would connect the A57(M) motorway with the M1 motorway; however, the motorway became the only part to be built. Numerous calls have been made to complete the motorway link between Manchester and Sheffield, the second and ninth most populous urban areas within the United Kingdom. Traffic between the cities is mainly divided between the Snake and Woodhead passes, which traverse the Peak District. M67 Recoilless Rifle
The M67 recoilless rifle is a 90 mm (3.55 inch) anti-tank recoilless rifle made in the United States and later in South Korea. It could also be employed in an anti-personnel role with the use of the M590 antipersonnel round. It was designed to be fired primarily from the ground using the bipod and monopod, but could also be fired from the shoulder using the folded bipod as a shoulder rest and the monopod as a front grip. The weapon was air-cooled and breech-loaded, and fired fixed ammunition. It is a direct fire weapon employing stadia lines to allow simple range finding, based on a typical tank target bridging the lines once in range. The BMW M67 was an automobile diesel engine, used in the BMW 7 Series. It was first introduced in 1998, and used until 2009. The engine is a common rail turbodiesel V8 engine, V8 design, using DOHC, double overhead camshafts and 32 valves. It was the first luxury car application of a bi-turbo diesel intercooled V8 engine. The 3.9-litre iteration won the "3-4 L" category of the International Engine of the Year award in 1999 and again in 2000. It was replaced by the 6-cylinder BMW N57, N57 engine. Mauser M67
The Kongsberg M67 is a bolt-action sharpshooter rifle made by ''Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk'' (currently Kongsberg Small Arms) of Norway, based on actions from Mauser M98k left by German armed forces in 1945. The M67 replaced the M59 in 1967 and was produced until the 1990s. The rifle is sometimes unofficially referred to as Mauser M67. However, both M59 and M67 were not licensed products of Mauser, but were produced by Kongsberg and marketed as such. Before the SIG Sauer 200 STR was approved for Scandinavian target shooting, the M67 and the Krag–Jørgensen were the most popular target rifles in Norway. Macchi M
Aermacchi was an Italian aircraft manufacturer. Formerly known as Aeronautica Macchi, the company was founded in 1912 by Giulio Macchi at Varese in north-western Lombardy as Nieuport-Macchi, to build Nieuport monoplanes under licence for the Italian military. With a factory located on the shores of Lake Varese, the firm originally manufactured a series of Nieuport designs, as well as seaplanes. After World War II, the company began producing motorcycles as a way to fill the post-war need for cheap, efficient transportation. The company later specialised in civil and military pilot training aircraft.
