M10 Road (Pretoria)
The M10 road is a long metropolitan route in the City of Tshwane in Gauteng, South Africa. It connects Sunderland Ridge with Mamelodi via Lyttelton and Garsfontein. Route The M10 begins in Sunderland Ridge, Centurion, at a junction with the R55 Route. It heads eastwards as Wierda Road for 5 km, through Eldoraigne, to cross the Hennops River and reach a junction with the R101 Route (Old Johannesburg Road). It then heads eastwards to pass under the N14 Highway (Ben Schoeman Freeway) and enter the suburb of Lyttelton, where it meets the M18 route (Botha Avenue) and passes through as Trichardt Avenue. The M10 continues eastwards as Solomon Mahlangu Drive (formerly Hans Strijdom Drive) to bypass the Air Force Base Waterkloof and meet the R21 e-toll Highway at Monument Park. The R101 is a Regional Route in South Africa that is the designation for some of the old sections of roads that were previously the N1, prior to upgrading. It only has 2 sections, from Bellville to Worcester and from Johannesburg to Polokwane. Western Cape The R101 starts in Bellville at the R102 running to the east parallel to the newer N1 freeway and is named 'Old Paarl Road'. It then goes through Brackenfell before entering Kraaifontein as 'Voortrekker Road'. At the intersection with Maroela Road in Kraaifontein East it is renamed 'Old Paarl Road' before entering the Cape Winelands. In the Cape Winelands it goes through Klapmuts and then enters Paarl. Moreleta Park ( af, Moreletapark) is a suburb of Pretoria, South Africa, situated southeast of the city centre. According to the 2011 census, it has a population of 27,539. Moreleta Park is a suburban area with the majority of people commuting to work elsewhere; e.g. Johannesburg. It has a broad mixture of properties including office parks, retail shopping centers, hospitals, churches, upmarket single stand housing, gated security complexes, as well as typically smaller and higher density residential units built within an outer wall that forms a security barrier. There is also an informal settlement called "Plastic View" within the borders of the suburb. This poverty stricken settlement does not receive much noted support from the local council. Air Force Base Waterkloof is an airbase of the South African Air Force. It is situated on the outskirts of Pretoria, and is the SAAF's busiest airbase. The base's name, ''Waterkloof'', is Afrikaans. It means ''Water Ravine'' in English.
