M. Karathu
Datuk M. Karathu (born 23 February 1943) is a Malaysian Association football, football manager and former player. Career as player He was a former player for Perak FA in the 1960s to 1970s and won two Malaysia Cup. He also has played for Malaysia national football team. Career as coach He started his coaching career in 1971, winning Burnley Cup (the precursor to Piala Presiden (Malaysia), Razak Cup) with Perak under-20 team. He also has coached the Kinta Indian Association (KIA) team in the Malaysia FAM Cup, FAM Cup. Karathu have been at the helm of Negeri Sembilan FA, Perak FA in three stints, Harimau Muda A, Malaysia national under-21 football team, winning 1991 TAAN Cup invitation tournament in Nepal with Malaysia national football team, Malaysia B team, Woodlands Wellington FC in Singapore, and Sri Lanka national football team. Taiping, Perak
Taiping (, Jawi: ; zh, t=太平, , Hokkien: Thài-pêng; ta, தைப்பிங்) is a town located in Larut, Matang and Selama District, Perak, Malaysia. It is located approximately northwest of Ipoh, the capital of Perak, and southeast of George Town, Penang. With a population of 245,182 (in 2013), it is the second largest town in Perak after Ipoh, the state capital. Taiping took over Kuala Kangsar's role as the state capital from 1876 to 1937, but was then replaced by Ipoh. The 2011 Malaysia Cup (Malay language, Malay: ''Piala Malaysia 2011'') was the 85th edition of the Malaysia Cup. The soccer competition began on 6 September 2011 and concluded on 29 October 2011 with the final held at Shah Alam Stadium, Shah Alam. A total of 16 teams took part in the competition. The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season. The cup is contested among the clubs from the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Premier League, Malaysia M3 League and Malaysia M4 League.
