M. J. Bassett
M. J. Bassett (born Michael J. Bassett) is a British film and television writer, director, and producer. She began her career directing the cult film, cult horror films ''Deathwatch (2002 film), Deathwatch'' (2002) and ''Wilderness (2006 film), Wilderness'' (2006). She also directed the dark fantasy ''Solomon Kane (film), Solomon Kane'' (2009) and the video game adaptation ''Silent Hill: Revelation'' (2012). Newport, Shropshire
Newport is a constituent market town in Telford and Wrekin in Shropshire, England. It lies north of Telford, west of Stafford, and is near the Shropshire-Staffordshire border. Transgender
A transgender (often abbreviated as trans) person is someone whose gender identity or gender expression does not correspond with their sex assigned at birth. Many transgender people experience dysphoria, which they seek to alleviate through transitioning, often adopting a different name and set of pronouns in the process. Additionally, they may undergo sex reassignment therapies such as hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgery to more closely align their primary and secondary sex characteristics with their gender identity. Scally The Dog
Scally the Dog was a puppet mongrel dog character, who co-presented the Children's ITV afternoon service from January 1989 – March 1991 in the United Kingdom. Children's ITV Children's ITV's bosses had noticed how successful puppet characters (such as Gordon the Gopher and Edd the Duck) had been on its rival, Children's BBC, so they decided to create their own version, which was Scally the Dog. He was operated and voiced alternately by three different puppeteers, who were Richard Coombs, John Eccleston and Michael J. Bassett. Coombs was the original operator of Scally and also built the puppet of him too.
