Abu Sayeed Chowdhury
Abu Sayeed Chowdhury (31 January 1921 – 2 August 1987) was a jurist and the President of Bangladesh. Besides that, he held the positions of the Chairmen of the United Nations Commission on Human rights, the vice-chancellor of the University of Dhaka, the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh and the first Bangladesh High Commissioner to the UK. Early life and education Chowdhury was born on 31 January 1921 in a Zamindar family of Nagbari in Tangail District. His father Abdul Hamid Chowdhury apart from being a Zamindar become the speaker of the East Pakistan Provincial Assembly later on in his life. He was given the title "Khan Bahadur" by the British Empire, a title which he later renounced to give his voice to the movement against British atrocities and the British Empire. Chowdhury graduated in 1940 from the Presidency College in Calcutta. He obtained his master's and law degrees from University of Calcutta in 1942 and after the second world war he completed bar-at-law in London. ...

Latifur Rahman
Latifur Rahman (1 March 1936 – 6 June 2017) was the 10th Chief Justice and the 2nd Chief Adviser of Bangladesh. Early life and education Rahman was born in Jessore on 1 March 1936. His father was the lawyer Khan Bahadur Lutfur Rahman. His maternal uncle Nurul Huda served as a High Court judge. He earned his master's in English literature at the University of Dhaka in 1956 and later completed his bachelor's in law from the same university. He served as a faculty member of Shahid Suhrawardy College. Career Rahman started his lawyer career with the Dhaka High Court membership in 1960. He was an apprentice to Bangladesh's first attorney general MH Khandaker. He became a permanent High Court judge in 1981 and an Appellate Division judge on January 15, 1990. Rahman became the Chief Justice on 1 January 2000 and retired from the position on 28 February 2001. AJ Mohammad Ali
A. J. Mohammad Ali served as the 12th Attorney General of Bangladesh, from 2005 to 2007. Career Ali's father MH Khandaker was the first Attorney General of Bangladesh. Ali was enrolled to practise in the High Court in 1980 and in the Appellate Division in 1985. He was appointed Additional Attorney General on October 23, 2001 and as the Attorney General on April 30, 2005. He resigned from the position on January 24, 2007. Ali served as the President of Supreme Court Bar Association and Bangladesh Bar Council's Executive Committee Chairman.
