''M.I.A.M.I.'' (backronym of ''Money Is a Major Issue'') is the debut studio album by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull. It was released on August 24, 2004 via TVT Records. The production on the album was primarily handled by Lil Jon, Jim Jonsin, Diaz Brothers and DJ Khaled. The album also features guest appearances by Lil Jon, Bun B, Fat Joe, Lil Scrappy and Trick Daddy among others. ''M.I.A.M.I.'' was supported by five singles: " Culo", " That's Nasty", "Back Up", " Toma" and "Dammit Man". The album received generally mixed reviews from music critics and a moderate commercial success. It debuted at number 14 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 chart, selling 55,000 copies in its first week. Armando Christian Pérez (born January 15, 1981), known professionally by his stage name Pitbull, is an American rapper and businessman. He began his career in the early 2000s, recording reggaeton, Latin hip hop, and crunk music under a multitude of labels. "Culo" ( en, "Ass") is the debut single by Cuban-American rapper Pitbull. The song was produced by rapper Lil Jon who is also a featured artist. "Toma" is the fourth single from rapper Pitbull's debut album ''M.I.A.M.I.''. It features Lil Jon. It peaked at number 21 in US Hot Rap Songs and number 73 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. On several occasions, the song has been heavily edited to make it " radio-friendly". Some versions remove the English profanity in the song, while keeping the Spanish sexually-explicit verse, saying, ''"Si tu quiere que te coma toda"'', which if translated, means to "if you want me to eat you up", a reference to cunnilingus. James Gregory Scheffer (born June 8, 1970), professionally known as Jim Jonsin, is an American record producer, songwriter, businessman and DJ from South Florida. Jonsin has collaborated with numerous artists, including Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, Usher, Lil Wayne, Kid Cudi, Eminem, Yelawolf, Nelly, T.I., Danity Kane and Jamie Foxx, among others.
