M.A. Zuberi
Muhammad Ahmed Zuberi (2 July 1920 12 December 2010) also known as Muhammad Aziz Zuberi, and M. A. Zuberi, was a Pakistani journalist who was the founder and editor-in-chief of the Pakistani financial and business daily newspaper, ''Business Recorder''. Early life Muhammad Ahmed Zuberi was born on 2 July 1920 at Marehra, United Provinces, British India. Career He started his career by joining ''Dawn'' newspaper, then the official newspaper of the All-India Muslim League, in December 1945 in Delhi, at the request of Muhammad Ali Jinnah and worked for this newspaper for 20 years in different capacities. After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, when Dawn newspaper started publication from Karachi, Zuberi started working there as a senior sub-editor. After retirement from Dawn newspaper, he wanted to fulfill his lifelong dream of launching a financial newspaper Business Recorder in 1965, also based in Karachi. Sitara-i-Imtiaz
The Sitara-e-Imtiaz () also spelled as Sitara-i-Imtiaz, is the third-highest (in the order of "Imtiaz") honour and civilian award in the State of Pakistan. It recognizes individuals who have made an "especially meritorious contribution to the security or national interests of Pakistan, world peace, cultural or other significant public endeavours". This award is not limited to the citizens of Pakistan, and it can also be awarded to foreign citizens based on their achievements and services done to the State of Pakistan (see Władysław Turowicz). While, it is a civilian award, it can also be awarded to military officers of the Pakistan Defence Forces worn on their uniform for recognition of their services to the country. Clifton, Karachi
Clifton is an upscale and historic seaside locality in Karachi, Pakistan. It is one of the most affluent parts of the city, home to some of Karachi's most expensive real estates. Abdullah Shah Ghazi
:''See also Ghazi and Gazi (other)'' Abdullah Shah Ghazi ( ar, عبد الله شاه غازي, ʿAbd Allāh Shāh Ghāzī) (c. 720 - c. 768) was a Muslim mystic and Sufi whose shrine is located in Clifton in Karachi, in Sindh province of Pakistan. His real name was Abdullah al-Ashtar. His father, Muhammad al-Nafs al-Zakiyya, was a descendant of Muhammad through his daughter Fatimah. Life in Sindh Around 761, Muhammad Nafs al-Zakiyah sailed from Aden to Sind where he consulted with the governor, Umar ibn Hafs Hazarmard before returning to Kufah and Medina. His son, Abdullah al-Ashtar, also known as Abdullah Shah Ghazi, married a woman from Sindh and had children by her.
