M-Towers
The M-towers, also known as the Metropolis Towers, are three towers that are proposed between triq d'Argens and triq Testaferrata within the limits of Msida, Malta, though often mentioned at Gżira and commonly known as the "Testaferrata site". The tallest of the three towers, at 33 stories, would become the tallest building on the island, surpassing the 98m Portomaso Business Tower. The towers would form part of a larger project, ''Metropolis Plaza'', to include a plaza, shops and restaurants. The building is set to affect the skyline of Valletta and the Grand Harbour. The Gzira local council did not object to the project. The project is currently on hold and no development has taken place on site for years. Skyscrapers In Malta
Since Malta's Independence in 1964, there has been a rapid increase in buildings all over the country. However, most of the urban areas are concentrated around the Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour areas where some of the country's most busy places are situated; Sliema, Saint Julian's, Paceville, Msida, Gżira, Ta' Xbiex and Pietà. As cars and road transport grew more and more popular in the country, the population started to spread out to farther areas and nowadays some other urban areas have developed; Saint Paul's Bay (including Qawra, Buġibba and Xemxija) and Mellieħa in the North, whilst having Marsaskala and the Malta Freeport area in the South of the country. Some of the tall buildings in Malta, such as the Metropolis Plaza in Gżira, are still under construction. Wembley Ice-cream Factory

Visual Pollution
Visual pollution is the study of secondary impacts of manmade interventions or visible deterioration and negative aesthetic quality of the natural and human-made landscapes around people. It refers to the impacts pollution has in impairing the quality of the landscape and is formed from compounding sources of pollution to create it. Visual pollution disturbs the functionality and enjoyment of a given area, limiting the ability for the wider ecological system, from humans to animals, to prosper and thrive within it from disruption to natural and human-made habitats. Although visual pollution can be caused by natural sources (e.g. wildfires) the predominant cause comes from human sources. Joseph Muscat
Joseph Muscat (born 22 January 1974) is a Maltese politician who served as the prime minister of Malta from 2013 to 2020, and as the leader of the Labour Party from June 2008 to January 2020. Muscat was re-elected as prime minister in the elections of 3 June 2017 (55.04% after 54.83% in 2013). Previously he was a member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 2004 to 2008. He was the leader of the opposition from October 2008 to March 2013. A helipad is a landing area or platform for helicopters and powered lift aircraft. While helicopters and powered lift aircraft are able to operate on a variety of relatively flat surfaces, a fabricated helipad provides a clearly marked hard surface away from obstacles where such aircraft can land safely. The Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA, mt, L-Awtorità ta' Malta dwar l-Ambjent u l-Ippjanar) was the national agency responsible for the environment and planning in Malta. It was established to regulate the environment and planning on the Maltese islands of Malta, Gozo and other small islets of the Maltese archipelago. MEPA was bound to follow the regulations of the Environment Protection Act (2001) and the Development Planning Act (1992) of the Laws of Malta.
