M8 (cipher)
In cryptography, M8 is a block cipher designed by Hitachi, Ltd., Hitachi in 1999. It is a modification of Hitachi's earlier M6 (cipher), M6 algorithm, designed for greater security and high performance in both hardware and 32-bit software implementations. M8 was registered by Hitachi in March 1999 as ISO/IEC 9979-0020. Like M6, M8 is a Feistel cipher with a block size (cryptography), block size of 64 bits. The round function can include 32-bit bit rotation, rotations, XORs, and modular arithmetic, modular addition, making it an early example of an ARX cipher. The cipher features a variable number of rounds (any positive integer N), each of which has a structure determined by a round-specific "algorithm decision key (cryptography), key". Making the rounds key-dependent is intended to make cryptanalysis more difficult (see FROG for a similar design philosophy). M8 Motorway (Hungary)
The M8 motorway is a planned Hungarian motorway, which will, upon completion, connect the western part of the country, near the Austrian border to Szolnok in the central part of the country. It will be partially concurrent with the European route E66 ( Graz – Veszprém – Székesfehérvár). The construction was reported to be started in 2007 (a few tiny sections were built, including the Pentele Bridge over the Danube) and it had been planned to be completed around 2015 but as of 2013 the plans were not even finalized and the even the permission phase for several smaller parts took more than 2 years. BMW M8
The BMW M8 is the high performance version of the BMW 8 Series (G15) marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. Introduced in June 2019, the M8 was initially produced in the 2-door convertible (F91 model code) and 2-door coupe (F92 model code) body styles. A 4-door sedan (F93 model code, marketed as 'Gran Coupe') body style was added to the lineup in October 2019. The Eighth and Ninth Streets Crosstown is a public transit line in Manhattan, New York City, running mostly along Eighth Street, Ninth Street, Tenth Street, and Christopher Street through the West Village, Greenwich Village, and East Village. The M8 Road is a road in the North-Western Province of Zambia. It connects Mutanda in Solwezi District with Zambezi Town via Mufumbwe, Manyinga & Kabompo. Route The M8 Road begins in Mutanda, Solwezi District (30 kilometres south-south-west of Solwezi), at a t-junction with the T5 Road between Solwezi and Mwinilunga. The Route begins by going southwards for 85 kilometres up to the settlement named Kawana in Kasempa District, where it meets the western terminus of the M18 Road from Lufwanyama and Kitwe in the Copperbelt Province. M8 Motorway (Sydney)
The M8 Motorway is a motorway in Sydney, Australia. The first and only stage of the M8 open to traffic is the WestConnex M8, previously known as the New M5 during planning and construction. The WestConnex M8 is a tolled motorway that links the M5 Motorway at to St Peters Interchange. It consists predominantly of tunnels, and includes tunnel connections to the future M4–M5 Link (the second stage of M8) and the future M6 Motorway. Planned and constructed as part of the WestConnex project, WestConnex tolls are applied to the motorway. It is one of the longest road tunnels in Australia along with the NorthConnex.
