Lézignan-Corbières
Lézignan-Corbières (; ) is a commune in the Aude department in the Occitanie region in southern France. Situated in the Corbières wine region not far from Narbonne, it has a Vine and Wine Museum (''Musée de la Vigne et du Vin''). Geography The river Orbieu flows northeast through the southeastern part of the commune and forms part of its eastern border. Lézignan-Corbières station has rail connections to Toulouse, Carcassonne and Narbonne. Population Sport Football Club de Lézignan (also known as Lézignan Sangliers - the Wild Boars) are a semi-professional rugby league club based in Lézignan-Corbières. Joseph Anglade
Joseph Anglade (1868–1930) was a French philologist. He specialized in Romance languages, particularly Occitan, and studied the lyrics of the troubadours. He was instrumental in formalizing the term ''Occitan'' for the language of Provence. He founded the Societat d'Estudis Occitans (SEO) in Toulouse, a predecessor of the Institut d'Estudis Occitans. Career Joseph Anglade became a college and faculty professor in Toulouse where he taught southern languages and literature. He published numerous works on Occitan, the troubadours, and their history, including a grammar of the Old Provençal, and founded a Southern Resource Center (Institute of Southern Studies), of which the Occitan and Southern Resource Center is today the heir. The organisation committee is considering moving the date of the event to late October, when British National League clubs would be available to participate. The Orbieu (; oc, Orbiu) is an long river in the Aude ''département'', in south central France. Its source is at Fourtou, in the Corbières Massif. It flows generally northeast. It is a right tributary of the Aude into which it flows between Raissac-d'Aude and Marcorignan, northwest of Narbonne. L'Institut is a French hip hop collective, established in 2005 as an offshoot of Sexion d'Assaut, and associated with Wati B. L'institut was formed by various rap and hip hop / freestyle acts mostly coming from 9th arrondissement in Paris. L'Institut released the collective album ''Equipe de nuit'' in June 2013 that included in addition various collaborations with L.I.O. Pétrodollars, S.Pri Noir and Shin Sekaï. Rosa Louise McCauley Parks (February 4, 1913 – October 24, 2005) was an American activist in the civil rights movement best known for her pivotal role in the Montgomery bus boycott. The United States Congress has honored her as "the first lady of civil rights" and "the mother of the freedom movement". Rugby league nines (or simply nines) is a version of rugby league football played with nine players on each side. The game is substantially the same as full rugby league, with some differences in rules and shorter games.
