László Markovits
Count László Markovits de Spizza et Kisterpest (born 4 April 1970) is a former tennis player from Hungary, son of water polo player and national team captain Kálmán Markovits and World champion handballer Márta Balogh. He was the winner of Hungarian National Tennis Championships in singles in 1986 (the youngest winner in seniors category in Hungarian tennis history with his age of 16) and has won it two times. He represented his native country as a lucky loser at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics in Barcelona in singles and partnered with Sándor Noszály for the doubles, but both ended in the first round, losing in four sets and being forced to retire respectively. He reached the second round in the 1988 Seoul Olympics and 1996 Atlanta Olympics teamed up with Gábor Köves. Lars Rehmann (born 21 May 1975) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Career Rehmann was a successful junior player, winning the Boys' Doubles at the 1993 Australian Open, with countryman Christian Tambue. They defeated the American pairing of Scott Humphries and Jimmy Jackson 6–7, 7–5, 6–2. In the same year he was also the junior single and doubles champion at Germany's national championship and also reached the final of the doubles at the 1993 Ansett Australian Indoor Championships. Alexander Mronz (born 7 April 1965) is a former tennis player from Germany, who turned professional in 1987. Mronz played right-handed, and won one doubles title (1988, Schenectady) in his career. Mronz reached his highest individual ranking on the ATP Tour on April 8, 1991, when he became the world No. 73. Mronz is famous for being the opponent of Jeff Tarango in a third round match at 1995 Wimbledon, having already knocked out Sjeng Schalken and Kenneth Carlsen to get to that stage. Mronz was leading by a set and a break, when Tarango was defaulted after losing his temper with the umpire, Bruno Rebeuh, following a couple of code violations. Tarango walked off the court in anger.
