Palais Des Sports Gerland
Palais des Sports de Gerland is an indoor arena, indoor sporting arena located in Lyon, France. The seating capacity of the arena is 5,910 people. History It was the venue of the Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon tournament. The arena was the regular home venue of ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne for European Champions cup games in the late 1970s and early 1980s, for which it had a maximum capacity for 10,000 spectators. The arena also hosted the 1968 Suproleague, European Champions cup final in basketball, in which Real Madrid Baloncesto, Real Madrid defeated BC Brno, Spartak Brno 98-95 in front of 8,000 spectators. The venue also saw France Davis Cup team, France defeat the United States Davis Cup team, United States in the 1991 Davis Cup final. The arena hosted the last Saporta Cup final in 2002, in which Montepaschi Siena won the trophy. In 2006 hosted the 2006 European Figure Skating Championships. Clara Tauson
Clara Tauson (born 21 December 2002) is a Danish professional tennis player. In 2016, at age 13, she became the youngest Danish champion in tennis. Caroline Wozniacki held the previous record when she won at age 14. Her career-high rankings are world No. 33 in singles and No. 432 in doubles reached February 2022. She has won two WTA titles both on hardcourt indoor. As a junior, she played amateur tournaments from 2013 till 2019 and started mixing this with prize money tournaments in 2017. In July 2018, Danilović won her first WTA Tour singles title in Moscow by beating Anastasia Potapova in the final. Eugenie "Genie" Bouchard (; french: Eugénie Bouchard, ; born February 25, 1994) is a Canadian tennis player. Arantxa Rus (; born 13 December 1990) is a Dutch tennis player. In 2008, she won the girl's singles title at the Australian Open, defeating Jessica Moore from Australia in the final. Bibiane Schoofs (born 13 May 1988), previously known as Bibiane Weijers, is a Dutch professional tennis player. On 11 June 2012, she reached her career-high WTA singles ranking of 142, whilst her best doubles ranking was world No. 83 on 2 April 2018.
