Lynne Koplitz
Lynne Koplitz is an American stand-up comedian and actress. Koplitz was host of Telepictures' nationally syndicated dating show '' Change of Heart'', guest host on NBC's '' Later'', co-host of the Food Network's ''How to Boil Water'', and co-host of Sony Pictures syndicated talk show ''Life and Style''. Her stand-up has appeared on a number of Comedy Central specials, including ''Premium Blend'' and ''Comedy Central Presents''. She performed at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. Life and career Koplitz was born on Long Island, New York, and grew up in Sarasota Florida. Koplitz earned a BA in theatre arts from Troy State University where she was a member of the Iota Kappa Chapter of Chi Omega in 1989. She performed for a regional theater group in Knoxville, Tennessee, before moving to New York City. Charles Messina (born October 21, 1971 in Greenwich Village, New York) is an American playwright, screenwriter, director, and co-founder of NahNotOutsideMyHouse! Productions. He is of Italian-American descent. He attended Xavier High School and then later, New York University. Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Neil deGrasse Tyson ( or ; born October 5, 1958) is an American astrophysicist, author, and science communicator. Tyson studied at Harvard University, the University of Texas at Austin, and Columbia University. From 1991 to 1994, he was a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University. In 1994, he joined the Hayden Planetarium as a staff scientist and the Princeton faculty as a visiting research scientist and lecturer. In 1996, he became director of the planetarium and oversaw its $210 million reconstruction project, which was completed in 2000. Since 1996, he has been the director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City. Midol
Midol is a brand of over-the-counter analgesic drugs marketed for menstrual cramping and other effects related to premenstrual syndrome and menstruation. Various subbrands are formulated using different active ingredients. Midol is distributed by Bayer. Midol was originally sold in 1911 as a headache and toothache remedy that was considered safer because it did not use the narcotics typically used at the time. It was then promoted as a cure for hiccups claiming it controlled spasms, and finally as a remedy for menstrual cramps and bloating. It was produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Television and lasted only one season, from September 2004 to March 2005. It is unrelated to the celebrity magazine of the same name, also launched in 2004. Background The hour-long program was hosted by Jules Asner, Kimora Lee Simmons, Cynthia Garrett, and Lynne Koplitz. A cutesy ad campaign gave all four co-hosts corresponding adjectives. Jules was "stylish and sophisticated", Cynthia was "smart and single mom", Lynne was "frank and funny" and Kimora was "outspoken and outrageous."
