Luxi, Pinghe County
Luxi Town () is a township-level division of Pinghe County, in the south of Fujian Province, China. Luxi Town is located in the mountainous northwestern corner of Pinghe County. In the north and west, its territory borders on Nanjing County and Yongding County. The town's name comes from the eponymous creek (Luxi (), literally, "Reed Creek"; cf. Lugou Bridge in Beijing), which flows here into the Mei River (Meihe; not to be confused with Meijiang, of the same system). The Meihe flows to the southwest, eventually leaving Fujian and entering Guangdong Guangdong (, ), alternatively romanized as Canton or Kwangtung, is a coastal province in South China on the north shore of the South China Sea. Lugou Bridge
The Marco Polo Bridge or Lugou Bridge () is a stone bridge located 15 km southwest of Beijing's city center in the Fengtai District. It bridges the Yongding River, a major tributary of Hai River. Situated at the eastern end of the bridge is the Wanping Fortress, a historic 17th-century fortress, with the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression inside. In recent years, the water of Yongding River has been diverted to different areas of Beijing, so there is often no water under the bridge. Yongding County
Yongding () is a District (China), district under the jurisdiction of Longyan prefecture-level city in the southwest of Fujian Province, People's Republic of China. The district is a center for Hakka culture, including the traditional Hakka ''tulou'', and a local dialect of the Hakka Chinese called the .
