Lusail University ( ar, جَامِعَة لُوسَيْل, ) is a private university in Lusail, Qatar. Former Attorney General of Qatar Ali Bin Fetais Al-Marri is the chairman of the university's board of trustees. In October 2020, Lusail University signed an MoU ( memorandum of understanding) with Qatar University to collaborate on academic, scientific, and organizational projects going forward. In November 2020, Lusail University held an event featuring a talk by Tunisian President Kais Saied. Lusail
Lusail ( ar, لوسيل, , ) is the second-largest city in Qatar, located on the coast, in the southern part of the municipality of Al Daayen. Lusail is located about north of the city centre of Doha, just north of the West Bay Lagoon, on over and will eventually have the infrastructure to accommodate 450,000 people. Of these 450,000 people, it is estimated that 250,000 or fewer will be residents, 190,000 will be office workers and 60,000 will be retail workers. It is planned to have marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts, luxury shopping and leisure facilities, and a golf course community, man made islands and several entertainment districts. Qatar (, ; ar, قطر, Qaṭar ; local vernacular pronunciation: ), officially the State of Qatar,) is a country in Western Asia. Qatar University ( ar, جامعة قطر; transliterated: Jami'at Qatar) is a public research university located on the northern outskirts of Doha, Qatar. It is the only public university in the country. The university hosts ten colleges – Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Law, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Pharmacy, College of Health Science, College of Medicine, College of Dental Medicine, and College of Pharmacy. Kais Saied ( ar, قَيس سَعيد; born 22 February 1958) is a Tunisian politician, jurist, and retired law professor, and currently the 8th President of Tunisia since October 2019. He was president of the Tunisian Association of Constitutional Law from 1995 to 2019. Qatar Charity (formerly Qatar Charitable Society) is a humanitarian and development non-governmental organization in the Middle East. The Qatar Fund for Development (acronym: QFFD, ar, صندوق قطر للتنمية) is a government entity in the State of Qatar, which is responsible for Qatar's international development and foreign aid; it was established by Law 19 of 2002. The QFFD also coordinates with the country's charitable and development institutions regarding the implementation of Qatari foreign policy and aid strategy through their work in foreign relief and development assistance.
