Lupin The 3rd Part 6
is a Japanese anime television series produced at TMS Entertainment, directed by Eiji Suganuma, and written by Takahiro Ōkura and Shigeru Murakoshi. Part of the ''Lupin III'' franchise, it is the seventh anime television adaptation of the ''Lupin III'' manga series created by Monkey Punch. The series aired from October 2021 to March 2022 on Nippon TV. Premise The first half of the series features gentleman thief Lupin III contending with detective Sherlock Holmes when Lupin becomes the top suspect in the murder of the former's longtime partner, Dr. Watson. Lupin is also after a treasure hidden by The Raven, a mysterious organization that manipulates the British government from the shadows. The second half revolves around Lupin's search for the mysterious woman Tomoe, whom Lupin believes to be his mother. Arsène Lupin (French pronunciation: ʁsɛn lypɛ̃ is a fictional gentleman thief and master of disguise created in 1905 by French writer Maurice Leblanc. The character was first introduced in a series of short stories serialized in the magazine ''Je sais tout''. The first story, "The Arrest of Arsène Lupin", was published on 15 July 1905. Lupin was featured in 17 novels and 39 novellas by Leblanc, with the novellas or short stories collected into book form for a total of 24 books. The number becomes 25 if the 1923 novel ''The Secret Tomb'' is counted: Lupin does not appear in it, but the main character Dorothée solves one of Arsène Lupin's four fabulous secrets. is a fictional character created by Monkey Punch for his manga series ''Lupin III'', which debuted in ''Weekly Manga Action'' on August 10, 1967. She is a professional criminal who regularly uses her attractiveness to fool her targets. Unlike the rest of the ''Lupin III'' cast, Fujiko's physical appearance changes for most installments in the franchise. She is the star of the fourth ''Lupin III'' anime television series, 2012's '' The Woman Called Fujiko Mine'', making it the first to not star Arsène Lupin III as the protagonist. was a legendary Japanese outlaw hero who stole gold and other valuables to give to the poor. He and his son were boiled alive in public after their failed assassination attempt on the Sengoku period warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
