Lumot River Dam is an embankment dam located between the Municipalities of the Philippines, towns of Cavinti, Laguna, Cavinti and Lumban, Laguna, Lumban, in the Provinces of the Philippines, province of Laguna (province), Laguna, Philippines. The dam was constructed across Lumot River creating a reservoir now known as Lumot Lake or Sierra Lake. Lumban, Laguna
Lumban, officially the Municipality of Lumban ( tgl, Bayan ng Lumban), is a 3rd class municipality in the province of Laguna, Philippines. It can reach this town Passing Through Rizal Province via Manila East Road or SLEX. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 32,330 people. Lumban is one of Laguna's oldest towns, located southeast of Manila. It got its name from Aleurites moluccanus, a tree locally named "lumbang". Lake Caliraya is a man-made lake situated in the municipalities of Lumban, Cavinti, and Kalayaan in Laguna province, Philippines. Created in 1939, the lake has developed as a popular spot for water sports and outdoor recreation including fishing.
