Luiz Marcelo Morais dos Reis (born 10 April 1990), commonly known as Lulinha, is a Brazilian professional football (soccer), footballer who plays as a Midfielder#Winger, winger. Club career Lulinha was born in Mauá, a Brazilian municipality in the São Paulo (state). He started as a futsal player before joining the Sport Club Corinthians Paulista, Corinthians youth system at the age of 8. A prolific attacking midfielder, he helped the Brazilian U-17 national side to win the 2007 U-17 South-American Championship, scoring 12 goals in 7 matches. In 2007, he played in the Pan American Games and scored 3 goals in 3 games. There was much speculation involving Lulinha's future, but at the end of 2007 he signed a new contract with his club Corinthians, committing himself to the club until 2012. 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup
The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2007, the twelfth edition of the tournament, was held in South Korea between 18 August and 9 September 2007. The 2012 Campeonato Baiano de Futebol was the 108th season of Bahia's top professional football league. The competition began on January 18 and ended on May 13. The Campeonato Baiano is the football league of the state of Bahia, Brazil. The championship has been played since 1905 without interruption. 2020 format First stage: 10 teams are included in one group, playing once only against all teams in the group. The four best teams qualify to the semifinals, while the last-placed team is relegated to the Second Level. Final stage The four best teams play in a two-legged knockout tie, with the first facing the fourth and the second facing the third placed. The 2009 Copa do Brasil was the 21st edition of the Copa do Brasil. It began on February 18 and ended on July 1. Format The tournament is played in six stages, with two teams playing a two-legged tie in each stage. In the first two rounds, if the away team wins the first match by at least a 2-goal difference, it will move towards next round. The away goals rule is also used in the Copa do Brasil. The winner will qualify to the 2010 Copa Libertadores, which prevents them from participating in next year's Copa do Brasil. 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, namely the second level of Brazilian football league system, was contested by 20 teams in 2008. Giants Corinthians played Série B for the first time after its poor season in Série A in 2007. Also, former Série A champions Bahia returned from Série C. The tournament started on May 9 and Corinthians begun defeating CRB 3-2 in São Paulo. Due to its tradition and huge number of supporters, Corinthians attracted most of the attention from the media. The club won the first six matches and never left the top of the table. Promotion came on round 32 - six matches before the end of season - after defeating Ceará 2-0 in São Paulo.
