Luke Elwes
Luke Elwes is a British contemporary artist whose paintings capture his encounters with the landscape and with the elements. He gained prominence in the early nineties when he returned from his travels in India, Asia and North Africa with a series of key paintings. Biography Elwes (pronounced "El-wez") was born in London, where he now works and lives with his wife, Anneke Elwes and two sons Jake Elwes and Toby Elwes. His early years were spent in Teheran, Persia, where the light and space of the desert were a formative influence. He attended leading Benedictine Private School, Worth School then between 1979 and 1985 he studied History at Bristol University and Painting at Camberwell School of Art. In 2007 he undertook postgraduate research at Birkbeck, University of London. Mount Kailash (also Kailasa; ''Kangrinboqê'' or ''Gang Rinpoche''; Standard Tibetan, Tibetan: གངས་རིན་པོ་ཆེ; ; sa, कैलास, ), is a mountain in the Ngari Prefecture, Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Anthony Whishaw
Anthony Whishaw (born 1930) is an English artist and member of the Royal Academy. He is also a member of The London Group.He was married to the sculptor Jean Gibson until her death in 1991. Education Whishaw attended Tonbridge School in Kent and went on to study at the Chelsea School of Art (1948–52) and the Royal College of Art (1952–55). At the latter, in 1955, he graduated with first class honours, and was awarded the Drawing Prize. He is also a recipient of the RCA Travelling scholarship, Abbey Minor Scholarship and Spanish Government Scholarship, where he painted ''Corrida''. Lino Mannocci
Lino Mannocci (1945 – 31 March 2021) was an Italian painter, printmaker and writer. Life He was born in Viareggio, Italy, and moved to London in 1968. Between 1971 and 1976, he studied at Camberwell College of Arts and as a postgraduate at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. From 1976, Mannocci returned annually to a little Italian hamlet in the hills between Lucca and Viareggio. He died in London in March 2021. Tony Bevan
Tony Bevan (born 1951) is a British painter, known for his psychologically charged images of people at the edge of respectable society. Biography Bevan was born in Bradford, Yorkshire. He studied at Bradford School of Art from 1968 to 1971, followed by Goldsmiths' College, London from 1971 to 1974, and the Slade School of Fine Art from 1974 to 1976.
