Luka Božič
Luka Božič (born 9 January 1991) is a Slovenian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2006. He won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with two golds (C2: 2014, C1 team: 2022), a silver (C1 team: 2018) and four bronzes (C1: 2019, C2: 2009, C1 team: 2014, 2015). He also won three gold, two silver and three bronze medals at the European Championships. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London he competed in the C2 event where he finished in 8th place after being eliminated in the semi-final. Four years later in Rio de Janeiro he finished in 7th place in the same event. His partner in the C2 boat was Sašo Taljat Sašo Taljat (born 22 September 1989) is a retired Slovenian slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 2006 to 2017. Luka Božić
Luka Božić (born April 29, 1996) is a Croatian professional basketball player for Força Lleida CE, Força Lleida of the Liga ACB on a loan from Valencia Basket, Valencia. Standing at 2.00 m, he plays at the small forward position. Playing career Early years A native of Bjelovar, Croatia, Božić played in the second tier of Croatian basketball for KK Bjelovar until he was picked up by KK Zagreb, a member of the country's top-flight A-1 Liga, in 2014. He immediately established himself as a scoring threat, averaging 15.1 points a game in the 2014-15 campaign. In the 2015–16 season, Božić increased his scoring output to 17.3 points per contest, draining 48.4 percent of his shots taken (177-366) including 38.4 percent (61-159) from three-point range. 2016 European Canoe Slalom Championships
The 2016 European Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was the 17th edition of the competition and Liptovský Mikuláš hosted the event for the second time after previously hosting it in 2007. The events took place at the Ondrej Cibak Whitewater Slalom Course from 12 to 15 May 2016. This event also served as the European qualification for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. The European Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships is an annual international canoeing and kayaking event organized by the European Canoe Association (ECA). The Junior Championships were first held in 1995 and then every two years until 2003. The Under-23 Championships were first held in 2002 as part of the senior championships that year. The 2013 ICF World Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia from 17 to 21 July 2013 under the auspices of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) at the Ondrej Cibak Whitewater Slalom Course. It was the 15th edition of the competition for Juniors (U18) and the 2nd edition for the Under 23 category. No medals were awarded for the men's U23 C2 event due to the fact that it did not meet the criteria for a medal event. In an Olympic event there need to be at least 6 countries from 3 continents represented to count as a world championship event.
