Luis Ramírez De Lucena
Luis Ramírez de Lucena (c. 1465 – c. 1530) was a Spanish chess player who published the first extant chess book. He is believed to be the son of humanist writer and diplomat Juan de Lucena. Book Lucena wrote the oldest surviving printed book on chess, ''Repetición de Amores y Arte de Ajedrez con CL 50Juegos de Partido'' ("Repetition of Love and the Art of Playing Chess with 150 Games"), published in Salamanca around 1497. The book includes analysis of eleven chess openings but also contains many elementary errors that led chess historian H. J. R. Murray to suggest that it was prepared in a hurry. The book was written when the rules of chess were taking their modern form (see origins of modern chess), and some of the 150 positions in the book are of the old game and some of the new. Luis Baltazar Ramírez Zapata (born 6 January 1954) is a retired Salvadoran footballer. Club career Nicknamed ''El Pelé'', he spent nearly 20 years playing for Salvadoran club Águila. He started with Águila, after being recommended by Brazilian technical director Arnaldo Da Silva, under the legendary Juan Francisco Barraza before leaving to join other clubs and later in his career make a return to the San Miguel based club. He also would go on to play for Atlético Marte and Alianza in his homeland El Salvador and spent time abroad playing for Cartaginés in Costa Rica, scoring 11 goals, and Puebla in Mexico. Luis Alfredo Ramírez Quioto (; born 21 November 1977), nicknamed ''El Bombero'' (;), is a Honduran former footballer who played as a striker. He is nicknamed Bombero because he used to work at a gas station as a gas pump attendant. Club career Ramírez started his career at Independiente and made his professional debut on 10 June 1998 against Olimpia. He then played for Real España before a short stint with Chinese team Guangzhou Jili Cars. On his return to Honduras, he played for Universidad, Honduras Salzburg, Victoria and Marathón. Career A native of Huatabampo, Sonora and a resident of Culiacán, Ramírez made his professional debut on March 25, 1973 at the age of 15. He climbed slowly but steadily on boxing's rankings. In 1978, as a Featherweight, a 19 year old Ramírez lost by knockout for the only time in his career to legendary three time former world champion Rubén Olivares in two rounds.
