Kraken (band)
Kraken is a rock band founded in Medellín, Colombia, in 1983. The current lineup consists of Roxana Restrepo (vocals), Andrés Leiva (guitar), Ricardo Wolff (guitar), Julian Puerto (drums), Luis Alberto Ramírez (bass guitar), and Rubén Gelvez (electronic keyboards). The sound of the band is characterized by a mixture of hard rock and heavy metal. The influence of the original lead singer Elkin Ramírez, was compared by some publications to that of Freddie Mercury or Bruce Dickinson. Medellín

''Kraken I'' is the name of the first studio album by Colombian group Kraken. It was released on December 7, 1987 by Codiscos. Information In 1986 Kraken recorded their first single in a 45 RPM format, under the condition of getting at least 500 signatures from people committed to buying the demanded copies, that at last ended up selling 15.000 copies on its first year. The songs chosen were "Todo Hombre es una Historia" and "Muere Libre". Their vocalist, Elkin Ramírez, makes successful arrangements to exit the borders of their city, allowing them to visit Pereira in 1986, performing in the minor coliseum of "Perla del Otun". In early 1987, Kraken records their second single in the same format "Escudo y Espada" and "Soy Real". The sales reached 7.500 copies. Bruce Dickinson
Paul Bruce Dickinson (born 7 August 1958) is an English singer who has been the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden from 1981 to 1993 and 1999–present. He is known for his wide-ranging operatic vocal style and energetic stage presence. Dickinson began his career in music fronting small pub bands in the 1970s while attending school in Sheffield and university in London.
