"Lucky One" is a single by American Christian music singer Amy Grant. It was released as the first single from her 11th studio album, '' House of Love'' (1994), in August 1994. The song reached number two on the ''Billboard'' Adult Contemporary chart and number 18 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, giving Grant her last US top-20 hit. It also peaked at number four in Canada and reached the top 75 in Germany and the United Kingdom. Amy Lee Grant (born November 25, 1960) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. She began in contemporary Christian music (CCM) before crossing over to pop music in the 1980s and 1990s. She has been referred to as "The Queen of Christian Pop". she had sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, won six Grammy Awards, 22 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, and her album was the first Christian album to go platinum. She was honored with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006 for her contributions to the entertainment industry and in 2022, she was announced as a recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors. Out of the Grey is a husband-and-wife Contemporary Christian music project consisting of Scott and Christine Denté. Tommy Sims is an American bassist, songwriter, record producer and bandleader. Music career From 1987 to 1989 Sims was the bassist for the Christian rock band White Heart, which he left to become a studio musician and producer.
