Lucky Mile
Lucky Mile () is the second team of HKFC which currently compete in the Hong Kong Second Division League. Club history Lucky Mile was formed in the late 1990s, borrowing on HKFC's membership in the Hong Kong Football Association. In the 1999–2000 season, the club won the Hong Kong Third Division championship and for the first time rose to the Hong Kong Second Division. In the 2007–2008 season, the club finished ninth and along with tenth place New Fair Kui Tan, they were relegated to Hong Kong Group C (A) Football League. In the 2008–2009 season, with a record of 15 wins and 3 losses have 46 points, they won the championship and achieved Group C Finals qualification. At the Group C finals, they tied Sai Kung Friends with a record 3–1–1 record and 4 points for top spot in the Group. Hong Kong Football Club Stadium
Hong Kong Football Club Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium located in Happy Valley, Hong Kong inside the oval of Happy Valley Racecourse. The main pitch is used for football and rugby (union) matches, and there is an adjoining hockey pitch. The playing surface has been synthetic since 2004. The stadium, privately owned by the Hong Kong Football Club, holds 2,750 people and hosts the annual Hong Kong Tens tournament and the HKFC International Soccer Sevens tournament. The original HKFC Stadium on Sports Road was the venue for the world-famous Hong Kong Sevens from its inception in 1976 until it outgrew its home and was moved to the Hong Kong Government Stadium (now the Hong Kong Stadium) in 1982. Hong Kong Second Division League
Hong Kong Second Division League () is the third level of football league in Hong Kong founded in 1909. The top two teams are promoted to the Hong Kong First Division. Competition format * Each team plays the other teams twice, one home and one away game. The ticket profits go to the home team. If there are two matches in the same stadium on the day, the profits are shared between the two home teams. * Since most of the teams do not have a home ground, the matches will be playing on different grounds. The 2019–20 Hong Kong First Division League was the 6th season of Hong Kong First Division since it became the second-tier football league in Hong Kong in 2014–15. The season began on 7 September 2019 and ended on 16 April 2020 when the Hong Kong Football Association announced the cancellation of all lower division seasons due to the 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Hong Kong. The football section of Hong Kong Football Club (Abbreviation: HKFC; ) fields a range of teams at various age divisions in the Hong Kong leagues. The first team currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. History While the football team has won many titles in the second-tier competition in recent years, they have rarely enjoyed success when playing against the professional sides in the First Division. Hong Kong Third Division League is the fourth-highest division overall in the Hong Kong football league system under the organization of Hong Kong Football Association. Starting with the 2012–13 season, the two divisions of Hong Kong Third Division League were merged into one. Kui Tan Sports Club () is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. History In 1975–76, Kui Tan won the Hong Kong Third A Division title, the first trophy in the club's history. In 1977–78, Kui Tan finished runners up in the Hong Kong Second Division title and were promoted into the Hong Kong First Division for the first time. They also won the Hong Kong Junior Challenge Shield, the first cup competition victory in club history. During their maiden season in the First Division, Kui Tan achieved a respectable fifth-place finish. The following season, the club were mired in a race for survival in the league with HKFC and Yuen Long. In the final match of the season against HKFC, keeper Lo Kwok Wah committed a crucial foul in the box leading to an HKFC penalty and goal. Sai Kung Friends Football Club () is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Third Division. History In 1997–98, they finished third in Hong Kong Second Division, but due to first and second HKFC and Jung Fuk gave up on promotion to Hong Kong First Division. Sai Kung Friends were promoted to Hong Kong First Division for the first time. Although having Brazilian striker, Tomy Adriano Giacomeli on the team, their overall strength was rather weak. Of the 8 teams in the 1998-99 First Division, they ranked 7th. However, HKFC and Fire Services both declined promotion, allowing Friends to remain in the First Division. The Central and Western District Recreation and Sports Association (), known simply as Central & Western District, is a Hong Kong football club based in Central and Western District, one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. The team currently competes in the Hong Kong First Division. The club's home matches are played at Happy Valley Recreation Ground and various other grounds as there are no suitable grounds in Central and Western District.
