Hong Kong Second Division League
Hong Kong Second Division League () is the third level of football league in Hong Kong founded in 1909. The top two teams are promoted to the Hong Kong First Division. Competition format * Each team plays the other teams twice, one home and one away game. The ticket profits go to the home team. If there are two matches in the same stadium on the day, the profits are shared between the two home teams. * Since most of the teams do not have a home ground, the matches will be playing on different grounds. It happens that one team plays their home games in different stadiums in the same season. * The bottom two teams are relegated to the Hong Kong Third Division. Lucky Mile
Lucky Mile () is the second team of HKFC which currently compete in the Hong Kong Second Division League. Club history Lucky Mile was formed in the late 1990s, borrowing on HKFC's membership in the Hong Kong Football Association. In the 1999–2000 season, the club won the Hong Kong Third Division championship and for the first time rose to the Hong Kong Second Division. In the 2007–2008 season, the club finished ninth and along with tenth place New Fair Kui Tan, they were relegated to Hong Kong Group C (A) Football League. In the 2008–2009 season, with a record of 15 wins and 3 losses have 46 points, they won the championship and achieved Group C Finals qualification. At the Group C finals, they tied Sai Kung Friends with a record 3–1–1 record and 4 points for top spot in the Group. Tuen Mun Sports Association (; also known as Tuen Mun) is a Hong Kong football club which currently competes in the Hong Kong Second Division. It is run by the Tuen Mun District Council. The club plays its home matches at Siu Lun Sports Ground. History Tuen Mun won the runners-up of the Hong Kong Second Division in the season 2009–10 and qualified for promotion to the Hong Kong First Division for the first time in the 2010–11 season. Sham Shui Po Sports Association () are a Hong Kong professional football club based in Sham Shui Po District which currently competes in the Hong Kong Premier League. Sparta Rotterdam (Mutual) FC
Sparta Asia Football Club () is a Hong Kong football club currently competing in the Hong Kong Second Division. During the 2008–09 season, it once competed in the top-tier Hong Kong First Division, and was relegated after finishing 12th out of 13 teams. At the end of the 2010–11 season, after gaining promotion to the First Division from the runner-up position in the Second Division, it withdrew from the First Division and was expunged from the Hong Kong league system by the HKFA. IT rejoined the league system and competed in the Fourth Division in the 2012–13 season. In 2015, the Asia football academy of the Dutch Eredivisie club Sparta Rotterdam took charge of the club and it rebranded as Sparta Rotterdam Mutual FC. The partnership ended after 2018. Sai Kung District Sports Association () is a Hong Kong district sports association of Sai Kung District which currently competes in the Hong Kong Second Division. The club plays the majority of its home matches at Sai Kung Tang Shiu Kin Sports Ground. History Sai Kung District began fielding a football team in the Hong Kong football league system in 2003 as part of a Hong Kong Football Association initiative to involve district representative teams. Sai Kung were part of a group of 11 districts who participated in the inaugural season of this project. Kwong Wah AA
Kwong Wah Athletic Association () are a football club that currently playing in the Hong Kong Second Division. The team's home matches are played throughout Hong Kong. History Kwong Wah were formed in 1936 by a group of coworkers at CLP Group. Among them, there were local and foreign players including future star Hau Yung Seng. The year after their formation, they won the 1937–38 Hong Kong Junior Shield as well as promotion into the Hong Kong Second Division. The club reached the Hong Kong First Division in 1947. For two for their first three seasons in the top flight, Kwong Wah finished at the bottom of the table but because there was no relegation during that time, they remained. In the early 1950s, Kwong Wah were sponsored by Shanghai businessmen including Xu Wenkui.
