Lucky Labrador Brewing Company, often referred to as Lucky Lab, is a brewery based in Portland, Oregon, United States. The business was established in 1994. Gary Geist is a co-owner. The brewery became the first in Oregon to use solar power for brewing. Locations There have been multiple locations in Portland. The original pub is on Hawthorne Boulevard in southeast Portland's Buckman neighborhood. Another is in southwest Portland's Multnomah Village. A third is located in northwest Portland's Northwest District neighborhood. In December 2022, the business announced plans to close the location at 1700 North Killingsworth Street in the Overlook neighborhood. Overlook is a neighborhood in the North section of Portland, Oregon on the east shore of the Willamette River. It borders University Park and Arbor Lodge on the north, Humboldt and Boise on the east, Eliot on the southeast, and Northwest Industrial and the Northwest District across the Willamette on the west. The Northwest District is a densely populated retail and residential neighborhood in the northwest section of Portland, Oregon. Craftsman-style and Old Portland-style houses are packed tightly together with grand old apartment buildings and sleek new condominiums, within walking distance of restaurants, bars, and shops. Northwest Portland is one of the sextants of Portland, Oregon, United States. Northwest Portland includes the Pearl District, most of Old Town Chinatown, the Northwest District, and various residential and industrial neighborhoods. A range of streets primarily in Northwest Portland is named alphabetically from Ankeny through York (the street following York is Reed Street).
