Lucinda Williams (later ''Adams'', born August 10, 1937) is a retired American sprinter. She won a gold medal in the 4×100 m relay at the 1960 Olympics, but failed to reach the finals of the individual 100 m and 200 m events in 1956 and 1960. Lucinda is a coastal town and locality in the Shire of Hinchinbrook, Queensland, Australia. In the , the locality of Lucinda had a population of 406 people. Geography The locality is bounded to the east by the Coral Sea, to the north by the southern end of the Hinchinbrook Channel (which separates Hinchinbrook Island from mainland Queensland), to the west by the Herbert River which flows in the Seaforth Channel and then into the Hinchinbrook Channel, and to the south by Gentle Annie Creek which flows into the Coral Sea.
