Lucilla Boari (born 24 March 1997) is an Italian Recurve bow, recurve archery, archer who has represented Italy at the Summer Olympics, Italy at the 2016 Summer Olympics and at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She has additionally competed for her country at the 2018 Mediterranean Games and the 2019 European Games, in which she won an individual gold and silver medal, respectively. Career 2016 Summer Olympics Boari secured two qualification spots for her country in the final world qualification tournament for the 2016 Summer Olympics, delivering the shot that claimed victory over Chinese Taipei to give Italy a full Olympic berth of three archers. The women's team archery event was one of 4 archery events at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Competition format As with the other archery events, the women's team was a recurve archery event, held under the World Archery-approved 70-meter distance and rules. 12 teams of 3 archers each participated. Competition began with a ranking round, in which each archer shot 72 arrows (this was the same ranking round used for the individual event). The combined scores from the ranking round were used to seed the teams into a single-elimination bracket, with the top 4 teams receiving a bye into the second round (quarterfinals). Guendalina Sartori (born 8 August 1988) is an Italian archer. A gold medalist at the World Archery Championships, European Games and the Mediterranean Games, she competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing in fourth in the women's team event.
