Lucas Lee (golfer)
Lucas Lee (born 1 August 1987) is a Brazilian professional golfer. He won his 2016 PGA Tour card after graduating from the Web.com Tour. He was the first alumnus of PGA Tour China to earn a PGA Tour card. Lee played college golf at UCLA where he was an All-American in 2007, won five tournaments and helped his team to the NCAA Championship in 2008. He turned professional in 2008. Lee played on PGA Tour Canada from 2009 to 2013, finishing second five times. He played on the Asian Tour from 2010 to 2012, finishing 97th on the Order of Merit in 2010. He played on the OneAsia Tour from 2012 to 2014, finishing 43rd, 26th, and 66th on the Order of Merit, respectively. He played on PGA Tour China in 2014, had six top-10 finishes and finished eighth on the Order of Merit. He played on the Web.com Tour in 2015, with two runner-up finishes. World Cup (men's Golf)
The World Cup of Golf is a men's golf tournament contested by teams of two representing their country. Only one team is allowed from each country. The players are selected on the basis of the Official World Golf Ranking, although not all of the first choice players choose to compete. 2011 World Cup (men's Golf)
The 2011 Omega Mission Hills World Cup was a golf tournament that took place 24–27 November on the Blackstone course at Mission Hills Haikou in Hainan, China. It was the 56th World Cup, and the first since 2009, when the tournament switched to being staged biennially. 28 countries competed as two player teams. The purse was increased from $5.5 million in 2009 to $7.5 million in 2011. The event was won by the United States, represented by Matt Kuchar and Gary Woodland with a score of 264, 24 under par. Qualification and format The leading 18 available players from different countries in the Official World Golf Ranking qualified automatically on 18 July. The 2008 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship was a golf tournament contested from May 28 to May 31, 2008, at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex in West Lafayette, Indiana. It was the 70th NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship, and was hosted by Purdue University. The team championship was won by the UCLA Bruins who captured their second national championship by one stroke over the defending champion Stanford Cardinal in stroke play. The individual national championship was won by Kevin Chappell, also from UCLA. Venue The tournament was played on the Kampen Course of the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex. This was the third NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship hosted by Purdue University on their campus golf courses in West Lafayette, Indiana; Purdue previously hosted in 1952 and 1961.
