Luboš Kubík
Luboš Kubík (born 20 January 1964) is a Czech former professional footballer and former manager of Torquay United, who played libero for the Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic national teams, winning 56 caps in total, and a number of notable clubs. He is currently an assistant coach with the United States men's national soccer team. Playing career Kubík was born in Vysoké Mýto, Pardubice Region and began his career in 1981 with ''Hradec Králové'', and moved to local powers Slavia Prague the following year. Luboš Sluka
Luboš Sluka (born on September 13, 1928, in Opočno) is a Czech contemporary composer. Life and career Lubos Sluka was admitted to Prague Conservatory where he completed his studies in three subjects - percussion, conducting and composition. In 1951, Sluka was chosen as Arthur Honegger's student, as well as George Auric's assistant. However, his stay in Paris has been cancelled due to political reasons. He graduated at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague in composition with Jaroslav Řídký and Pavel Borkovec, film music with Václav Trojan in 1959. From 1962 to 1963, he was employed as the program editor in Czech Television, from 1963 till 1969 he'd worked in the music publishing company Panton. Luboš Motl (; born 5 December 1973) is a Czech physicist and blogger. He was an assistant professor in physics at Harvard University from 2004 to 2007. His scientific publications were focused on string theory. Life and career Motl was born in Plzeň, present-day Czech Republic. He won a Bronze Medal at the 1992 International Mathematical Olympiad. Ľuboš Micheľ (; born May 16, 1968) is a retired Slovak football referee. Referee career At a young age, Micheľ refereed a number of games in Lebanon. Micheľ became a FIFA referee at the age of 25. Micheľ was selected to referee the 2003 UEFA Cup Final in Seville, Spain, between Porto and Celtic, one of the biggest appointments for a UEFA referee. Luboš Kozel (born 16 March 1971) is a Czech football manager and former player. Following a playing career where he was associated with Slavia Prague, he spent seven years as manager of FK Dukla Prague, overseeing their transition from the Second League to the Czech First League.
